About Viola F. Romney

Viola F. Romney, “Grammy”, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2019 at the age of 95 in Mesa, Arizona. Born in Safford, Arizona, on December 23, 1923. She was the daughter of James Albert and Myrtle Foster. She married Miles Haven Romney Sr. in 1943. Together they raised a son, Miles Haven Romney Jr. and three daughters, Barbara Criswell, Beverly Crowther, and Kathleen Hoopes.

Viola was preceded in death by her husband Haven and son. She is survived by her 3 daughters, 10 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 26 great-great-grandchildren. Nothing made her happier than spending time with her family. She also spent many happy years serving in the Mesa Arizona temple with her husband.

Graveside services will be held in the Duncan, Arizona cemetery at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 27, 2019. Services are being provided by Bunker’s Garden Chapel in Mesa.
