A Life Remembered

Obituary

Vic Blackwell (Viktourean Amir Mays)

August 17, 1987 – March 16, 2026

From the very beginning, Vic shared an unbreakable bond with his mother, C’sandra. Their relationship was rooted in deep, unwavering love and devotion. She cared for him wholeheartedly, and in return, Vic carried a profound and protective love for her throughout his life, always making sure she felt supported just as he always had.

Vic was lovingly raised by his devoted mother, C’sandra, and by his father, Victor Weaver, along with the Weaver family. Their love, guidance, and strong foundation in the church played an instrumental role in shaping the man he became.

Although his relationship with his biological father, Darren Mays, began later in life, it quickly grew into something deeply meaningful. Their bond was powerful and transformative. Through their connection, Darren shared the Gospel and the hope of Christ with Vic, who later professed his faith. In honor of that bond, he proudly embraced his father’s name, Mays, as part of his own.

Vic was a proud graduate of Mountain Pointe High School, Class of 2005. He was an entrepreneur at heart, driven and determined to build a legacy for his family. In 2023, he founded Integrity Moving Specialist, a business that quickly rose to prominence through his commitment to excellence, professionalism, and care. Whether serving high-end residential clients or supporting nonprofit organizations, Vic approached every opportunity with integrity and dedication.

To know Vic was to experience a quiet strength. He carried himself with humility and confidence, speaking few words but leaving a lasting impact. He had a magnetic presence, was an exceptional listener, and continuously sought growth and wisdom in all areas of life.

Vic’s heart was as big as his ambition. He gave freely of his time and energy, often serving others without expectation of anything in return. Outside of work, he found peace in music. The studio was his sanctuary—a place where he could express himself, reflect, and find balance.

Above all else, Vic’s greatest pride and joy was being a father. His children—Ceej Zepeda, Jalen Weaver, Dorian Weaver, Xavier Weaver, Dominic Weaver, Lyric Weaver, and Victoria Mays—were the center of his world. Everything he did was rooted in his love for them and his hope for their future.

He also shared a deep and loving partnership with his fiancée, Mercedes Zepeda. Together, they built a life filled with meaningful moments—sharing meals, enjoying their favorite chocolate chip cookies and vanilla ice cream, cooking side by side, cherishing family days, and embracing peaceful mornings together.

Vic’s legacy of faith, love, generosity, and perseverance lives on through his children, his fiancée, and all who were blessed to know him.

He is survived by his parents, C’sandra Blackwell, Darren Mays, and Victor Weaver; his grandparents, Velma Weaver, Hersey Jackson, and Earnestine Jackson; his siblings, Kaid Jackson, Shiloh Weaver, Anaya Green, Trinity Weaver, Alysia Woods, Micah Mays, and Maya Mays; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends whose lives he touched deeply.

"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." — Psalm 34:18

We fought together learned life lessons together grew up together. I specifically remember a moment when we’re 14 walking from mountain pointe. You looked at me and said I can rap I said so can I. Troy was there he said let’s start a group and we did. Life was so easy then before the responsibility’s. But without those lesson we would have never grown into strong men. I pray your kids grow up to be strong and have great memories like we did. Life lessons or learned through experience.

Victor and I were close in age. I remember when I was younger how he would come over and hang out. It has been awhile since I last seen him, but I’ll always remember him just the sweetest person you’ll know. A local upcoming rap artist, which I still have his songs on my playlist. RIP Victor, you will be missed. Give my mom and sister a hug for me and my family.
