Steven Leon Starks

Steven Leon Starks was born November 8, 1960 in Mesa, Arizona. He spent his school years in Mesa and was proud to be a Westwood High graduate. After graduation he served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Seattle, Washington. Upon returning from his mission he reconnected with Becky, his wife, and they were married in the Mesa, Arizona Temple. He and his wife brought 3 beautiful children into their family. He was blessed with 6 grandchildren who he loved with all his heart. He enjoyed camping, shooting, and 4 wheeling in his off time.

Steve was 65 when he was called home on August 27, 2026 at home with his wife by his side. He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Shirley. He is survived by his daughter Shari (Andrew), and sons Joshua (Kelly), Randall (Susan) and his grandchildren Aric (Daniella), Jakob, Adelyn, Lauren, Chelsea, Morgan, one brother Jerry Rockwell, 2 sisters Brenda Stem and Evelyn Christie. He inherited many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews when he married. His friends were and are considered family. Private family services were held to honor him and his life. Until we meet again sweetheart.
