Phyllis E Johnson, age 92, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2017, surrounded by three generations of family. She is now reunited with her husband and eternal dancing partner after a long 31-year separation. Her life was as vibrant as the colorful clothing she loved to wear.

Born in Safford, Arizona to Carl and Lucille Morris, Phyllis married E Otho Johnson, Jr. and they are parents to: Kitty Henson (Bob), Bob Johnson (Lis), Valerie Hawker (Kyle), and Phil Johnson (Lynn). She treasured her 11 grandchildren and 49 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 am Monday, October 23, 2017 at the LDS church located at 8710 N 3 rd Ave, Phoenix, AZ. Visitation at 9 am.

What a beautiful woman, Mrs. Johnson was. I am very sorry to read of your loss. With her accomplishments, her love and joys, she was an amazing woman! I won’t pretend to know what you’re going through, but what has helped me deal with the loss of those I love, is turning to the Scriptures, something that has been a real source of comfort. One Scripture that gives me hope is, John 11:25, which says, “Jesus said to her: “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life.” I hope that this verse will also comfort you and, I hope you and your family can get through this difficult time.
