Norma Jean Peterson

Norma Jean Peterson, 82, of, Mesa, Arizona, passed away June 24, 2017 in Mesa, Arizona.

She was born January 11, 1935 in Phoenix, Arizona to Alma Williams and Morva Wilkens. Jean was raised in Phoenix across the street from the Arizona State Capital Building. She attended Arizona State University. She married Leo Clarence Peterson on July 1, 1955 in the Mesa Temple.

She was preceded in death by her husband and both parents. She is survived by her brother Dwayne A. Williams and her children: Mark (Jerri Ann), Verle (Vicki), Leilene Tieman (Paul), Dana Haws (Edwin), Le Borman (Rick), Darren (Jodi); 23 grandchildren, and 58 great-grandchildren.

Burial will be Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Lakeside City Cemetery, Lakeside, Arizona.
