Minnie Bass Lorenzen passed away Monday, March 24th peacefully at her home in Snowflake, Arizona at the age of 93. She was born in Norton, Virginia on September 14, 1931, to Franklin Robert Bass and Willie Boyd Vaughn. She was one of seven children. (Frank Krantz, Lola Myers, Henrietta Kendrick, David “Sonny” Bass, Stella Kiss, Elizabeth Shumaker). Minnie met and married Raymond Lorenzen on January 3rd, 1949, in Kingsport, Tennessee. They had two children, Clifton David (Marti) of Queen Creek, Arizona and Todd Raymond (Chris) of Snowflake, Arizona. Ray and Minnie have 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Minnie was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; she was always very active. She held many positions in the church and always enjoyed serving. She especially loved family history.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, March 31, 2025 at 11:00am at the City of Mesa Cemetery
