Obituary

Marion H. Yakerson, 84, was called home on Monday, April 12, 2021. There to meet her were her husband Norman, parents Charles N. and Edna Hewett, and her sister Cheryl Hewett. She is survived by her brother Charles Hewett. Her legacy will continue through her son Michael Yakerson (Lynette), and grandchildren Christopher and Andrew Yakerson.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00am in the church at 2520 N Hartford St., Chandler, AZ, with a visitation beginning one hour prior to the service at 9:00am. www.bunkerfuneral.com

We loved Norm and Marion, and first met them over 40 years ago when they came to Mesa with twelve year old Mike and moved into Alma 1st Ward. Mike was a faithful friend to Rob and Rich all these years. Our condolences to Mike and his family. May the Lord watch over you all. Norm and Marion are together again.

Robert Walton

Marion and her husband Norman were like second parents to my twin, Richard, and I. We were best friends with Mike during our later school years, and we spent many hour in their home. Norm has been missed, and Marion will be missed also. I am glad they are reunited at last. So thankful for knowledge of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
