Linda Carol Pike , age 74, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Linda was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, quiet strength, and the deep love she had for her family. She lived a life of kindness and grace, always putting others before herself and finding joy in the simple moments spent with loved ones.

She also had an adventurous heart and a deep love for the outdoors. Whether rappelling off bridges, exploring caves, kayaking peaceful waters, hiking scenic trails, or traveling to new places, Linda embraced life with curiosity and courage.

On that peaceful July day, she was lovingly welcomed into Heaven by her parents, Bruce and Anna.

She is survived by her loving children—Sherri, Brandon, and Daniel—each of whom was a source of pride and joy in her life. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought light to her days and warmth to her heart. She is also survived by her older sisters Karen and Rita, as well as her younger brother David. Linda’s legacy of love, strength, and compassion lives on through each of them and in the countless lives she touched. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and all who were blessed to know her.

A memorial service to celebrate Linda’s life will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Bunker Family University Chapel , located at 3529 E. University Drive, Mesa, AZ 85213 . Family and friends are welcome to attend and share memories of her beautiful life.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Linda’s name to either the ASPCA – American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals ( You can help save animals today. | ASPCA ) or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital ( Impact the lives of St. Jude kids – St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital )—two causes close to her heart.

She was not only a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend but she was also a giving and loving sister to her older sisters Karen and Rita and younger brother David. She will be remembered with great love and cherished memories and will remain in our hearts till we meet again. Missing you sweet sister.

My heart is with you all during this time of deep sorrow and remembrance. Losing Aunt Linda is a profound loss—not just of a mother, grandmother, aunt, and sister—but of a truly gentle soul who touched the lives of everyone around her with quiet grace and a spirit of adventure that could never be dimmed. Growing up together in Apache Junction, us cousins shared a bond that time has never broken. I hold so many beautiful memories close—our childhood days playing in the desert, exploring under the Arizona sun, always watched over by Grandma’s tireless hands and Grandpa’s cane (which we somehow always managed to dodge, with laughter). Those moments were simple but magical, and aunt Linda was a part of that magic. As I grew older, I came to admire her in a new way. Her adventurous heart left an imprint on mine. It was her travel stories that led me to travel alone for the first time to Hawaii—her voice in the back of my mind telling me of what they had seen and done. The picture of her holding the gun next to the Mexican sign saying no guns, still makes me laugh. Later, I found myself drawn to the hiking trails of Flagstaff, Sedona, and the Rim , inspired by the stories she shared of hiking with Rick. Her legacy is not just in the family she cherished or the strength with which she lived, but in the way she inspired others—quietly, but deeply. Linda showed me that life is meant to be explored, savored, and shared. And that love, when given freely and without conditions, ripples far beyond what we can see. Please know that I’m holding you all in my thoughts and prayers. May the love she gave and the life she lived bring you comfort in the hardest moments. And may the memory of her adventures, her laughter, and her unwavering love live on in all of us who were lucky enough to call her family. With all my love and deepest sympathy, Scott

Although Linda was my cousin, I was only fortunate to see her a small number of times in my life. Those few numbers were wonderful though. A very kind, loving and soft spoken human, reminding me of my mother. My prayers go out to all family members and friends that you all find comfort in each other and from your lovely memories of Linda.
