Obituary
Larry A. May, 78 passed away on May 26, 2022 . He served in Vietnam from November 1966-67. He was wounded on July 4, 1967 and his list of medals include: Purple Heart, Air Medal, Bronze Star, National Defense Service Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal.
Larry started his career as a Park Ranger at Saguaro National Park. Other assignments were: Denver Service Center, Grand Canyon National Park, Indiana Dunes National Lake Shore, Gateway National Recreation Area, Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, Washington D.C., and Fort Collins. He had several foreign assignments which included: Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Mexico, and Australia.
Services will be on Tuesday October 11, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. Friends and family will gather at his home on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at noon.
Larry is survived by his wife, Susan, son James and his wife, Lyn, daughter, Marcella, grandsons, Christopher and Maxwell, brothers, Tom and Bob.
