Joy Yvonne Mehalko, 84 passed peacefully on December 10, 2016 in Mesa, Arizona. Joy led a happy life filled with family and friends. Survived by loving husband Daniel; sister Beverly, brother William; children: Kim (son), Daniele, Shaun, Kelle; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Memorial services: Friday, December 16, 2016 at 11AM, Bunker’s University Chapel, 3529 E. University Dr. in Mesa.

Joy was my mentor when i took the ECO job at RAFB. She was so smart friend and we stayed in touch after retirement. Stopped to see her a few yrs ago. Will miss her a lot. Prayers going up for the family. Love you guys.

To Mrs. Mehalko’s family, I’m very sorry for your loss. I wanted to offer you some comfort that I’ve found in the Bible. Revelation 21: 4 says Jehovah God “will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more..” It’s my hope that this, as well as God’s other wonderful promises, bring you comfort and strength. Sorry about Joy’s passing. She was a high school classmate and has kept in touch with us. Our condolesence to the family.
