About John Richard “Rick” Wright
John Richard Wright (Rick), 62 of Mesa, Arizona passed away peacefully at his home in the early morning on Saturday, September 11 th , 2021
Rick was born to Margaret and Weldon (Ray) Wright on August 25 th , 1959. Born into a loving family, Rick was the youngest brother of 5 boys. Uncle to many, father of Delbert and Lisa Wright, grandfather of Cory, Jason, Seth, Breezy, Shyanne and Chancellor, great-grandfather to Madelyn. He is survived by the love of his life Linda Wright whom he vowed as his wife 42 years ago.
Rick retired after 33 years as a Heavy Equipment Operator at Chandler Ready Mix and Cemex.
Rick enjoyed life in many ways, he enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, SprintCar, NASCAR, cooking, BBQ competitions but above all else he enjoyed having a good time with his family and friends that he loved. In that tradition we will be celebrating his life at his home on October 16 th starting at 2pm. 330 S. Hawes Road Mesa, Arizona.
