Jeanette Pearl Hansen

Jeanette Pearl Hansen, 88, passed away peacefully, in her home in Mesa, AZ on October 13, 2026. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 23, 1938, in the home of her Paternal Grandparents.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her father John Joseph Prizer, mother Lucille Pearl White Prizer, her baby brother Denny John Prizer and her beloved step-mother Dorothy Jane Messner Prizer.

Jeanette led a very happy and fulfilled life. She was a school teacher in Kansas, California and Arizona. Jeanette loved being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she held many callings. The best part of her life was her family. Jeanette and Buck married on August 29, 1958. They have three children: John (Denise), Roger and Juliana; 9 Grandchildren and 15 Great-Grandchildren.

Funeral Services with be held on October 24, 2026, at 9am, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints building located at 1911 N 24th St Mesa, AZ 85213 (off McKellips between Gilbert Rd and Lindsay). Visitation will proceed Saturday, October 24, 8am – 8:4 5am.

Interment will be that same day at the Lakeside, AZ Cemetery at 3pm. Bunkers in Mesa will be handling the arrangements.
