About Jaret Lott Denham
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jaret Lott Denham, a beloved father, son, brother, grandfather, a dedicated 21-year veteran Border Patrol Agent, and a friend. Jaret Lott Denham died September 16, 2024, in Ajo, Arizona.
Jaret was born on May 29, 1975, in Mesa, Arizona, 4 minutes before his life-long side kick and twin sister. He was the fourth out of five children born to Jackie Howard and Sherry Ann Walker Denham.
Jaret attended and graduated from Westwood High School in 1993. He served a two-year LDS mission in Paraguay, where he learned to speak Spanish.
He left a wonderful legacy. Jaret has three beautiful children: Tayler (Noah) Hartkopf, Ammon, and Jalee. He was also blessed with one adorable grandson, Oakley, whom he adored. Jaret is survived by his parents, siblings Daryl (Lydia) Denham, Lisa (William) Orr, Jamin (Betsy) Denham, and his twin sister Jolet (Ren) Ibarra, his children, and grandson, plus many nieces and nephews.
Jaret was the best of us. He was always quick with a smile, a friendly “hello”, or a funny quip or joke. He served as a quiet example of what “serving others” means. His extreme kindness, charity, and happiness will be greatly missed and forever cherished. His unwavering service to our country, guarding its borders, is a testament to his strength and loyalty. We find peace in knowing that he will continue to protect us on the other side.
