James Victor Spiers, Jr., 46, passed away on September 29, 2015 in Gilbert, Arizona. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 from 6-8 PM at Bunker’s Garden Chapel, 33 N. Centennial Way, Mesa, Arizona. Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at 10:30 AM, with visitation from 9:30 -10:15 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Gilbert Silver Creek Ward, 220 E. Cullumber Avenue, Gilbert, Arizona.

James was in my German class at Mountain View. He was a great guy with a zest for life. The world will be a little darker without him.

I am very sorry for the recent loss of your loved one, James Victor Spiers Jr. I have a brief encouraging message I would like to share with you from God’s Word, the Bible. The Bible can be a great source of both comfort & hope during this most difficult time in your lives. For one example, at Revelation 21:3-5 it assures us that the day is soon coming when our loving Heavenly Father is going to wipe away the tears of sorrow from our eyes forever and that even pain & death will be no more. I hope after reading this it will be of some comfort to each one of you. I didn’t know you James..but from your friends that did..they have told stories and have shared memories about you . I feel our lives are for the purpose of relationships with others and the memories we leave as friends come and go.. I hope to send Loved ones my love and hope we all will make each day together ones that are full of happiness and laughter.. Thank you.. Amber Martin

James will always be remembered as a very good person and a very opinionated interior designer. He always would have the best advice on what style and which piece of furniture to use and where. Love and Respect for Always Tommy and Amber Rudd

Omg I just now heard about your passing and I am very sad at the thought of you gone…you were always good to me and even made me dollhouse furniture when we were kids and I still have them..rest in peace my friend, you will be missed.

I just put 2 and 2 together. Thinking about you, James, led me to look at your FB page. I saw that someone was making a photo album for you but until now did not know the occasion. I am stunned. We served in Santiago, and were the fashion gurus (well you were). I have such fond memories and know you as a good friend forever and always.
