James Gus Corolis, 89, passed away peacefully at his home in Mesa, Arizona. A native of Chicago, Illinois, James raised his family in Addison, Illinois where he served his community as a police officer for 20 years. Upon his retirement 33 years ago, he moved to Mesa, Arizona with his wife Dorothy Corolis. He is preceded in death by his parents Gus and Katherine and his daughter Jennifer Rivera. He is survived by his wife Dorothy, his children Kathy &(Bob) Cortese, Gus Corolis, John Corolis, David & (Jeannette) Corolis , his 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Graveside services to be held at 12:30 pm, Thursday, November 3, 2016 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix, Arizona.
