James Brent Garrett

James Brent Garrett returned home on March 16, 2023. He was born on August 23,1951 and was the oldest of three children born to Jim and Ercel Garrett. He was born in Mesa, Arizona in the old Southside Hospital.

Brent led an active, happy life with a great love for family, friends, the outdoors, and much service in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints. He served a mission in the England Central Mission.

He is survived by his Wife-Nancy Combs Garrett; Son-Alan Brent and his wife Lindsey Eve Garrett- Grandchildren: Samantha Eve, Cooper James, Caleb Alan, Logan Jack, and Luke Samuel Garrett; Son-Cody Combs and his wife Camille Lauren Garrett- Granddaughter: Ames Alex Garrett; and two sisters: Valerie Garrett Biggs and Debra Garrett Farris.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Aimee Nicole Garrett and his parents: James Bellamy and Ercel Knight Garrett. Services for Brent will be held on Friday, March 24,2023 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints building located at 2334 E. Pueblo Ave. Mesa, Arizona 85204. Services will begin at 11:00 am with visitation from 10:00-10:45 am.
