Helen F. Bates

Helen F. Bates, 95, passed away peacefully September 26, 2014 in Mesa, Arizona. She led a full life, always active in her church and enjoying music, quilting, crocheting, and camping. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Lt. Col. Paul J. Bates, USAF Ret., her son Paul J. Bates, Jr., and her grandson, Paul J. Bates III. She is survived by her children Richard W. Bates, Laurence A. Bates, Kathryn Bates, Barbara Bates Shumway, and Diane Bates, and 7 grandchildren. Funeral services are Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at 10 AM at the LDS Church, Harmony Ward building, 940 E. Southern Ave., Mesa. Our thanks to Bunker’s Garden Chapel, 33 N.
