Hazel Eldridge, age 94, passed away February 12, 2018 in Mesa, Arizona. Hazel was born July 9, 1923 in McLeod, Oklahoma. She was a World War II Marine veteran and a retired high school librarian from Superior High School, in Superior, Arizona.

She is survived by her husband Arthur, daughter Kathleen Eldridge, and son Ron Eldridge. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Chantel Eldridge, Candice Eldridge, and Ron Eldridge II; her great-grandchildren, Gabriel Markman, Zack Davis, Nick Davis, Michaela Fierros, Joshua Eldridge, and Julia Eldridge; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Grandma I can still smell your snickerdoodles and homemade hot fudge spread throughout the house. To my very first pair of cool Rollerskates, getting into your Mary Kay cosmetics closet and doing make overs with me to taking me to the mall and surprising me by letting me pick out my first pair of Jordache jeans!! I will never forget the positive, loving influence you had on me. You gave me my brother and sister so many fun memories. In my 50 years of life I’ve never heard you raise your voice to anyone, always loving and the glue to the family. I hope to be half the grandma you were to my grand babies. Thank you for showing me what a grandma is supposed to be like. Such a loss to our family circle. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️? Love you Grandma. Chantel
