Obituary

Glynn Martin Myers, 50, of Casa Grande, AZ, passed away on December 9, 2016 in Mesa, AZ.

Visitation services will be held Friday, December 16, 2016 from 6-8 pm. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2016 beginning at 4 pm. Both services will be held at Bunker’s Garden Chapel, 33 N. Centennial Way, Mesa, AZ.

Glynn served in the Marine Corps and was awarded a Good Conduct Medal, a Meritorious Mast for outstanding service, and a Certificate of Commendation. Glynn was active in the American Legion and served as Casa Grande Post 8’s Ride Director. Family was very important to Glynn; together they enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.

Glynn is survived by his wife, Susan Myers; his children, Jon Myers (Karlee), Samantha Garay (David), Taylor Myers (Alex), Glynn Myers Jr, and MaryJo Myers; his parents, Charles “Bud” Myers and Mary K Myers; his siblings, Letitia Koerner (Tim), Lee Myers (Charlotte), and Martha Fields (CJ); and 4 grandchildren. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the American Legion.

To the Myers family, I’m very sorry for your loss, and I wanted to offer you some comfort that I’ve found in the Bible. Isaiah 25:8 says “God will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.” I hope this promise, that soon death will be no more and God will comfort us, brings you some strength.
