Felipa Sargent

Felipa Sargent, was born to the late Julian Rivera and Carmen Noriega on May 1, 1960 in Chihuahua, Mexico. She was one of 9 children. On Saturday, August 29, 2026 at 9:04 am Felipa was escorted by Yeshua to return home.

Felipa graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in education and she used those skills outside of the classroom daily. Her passion was the word of God and on one of her soon to be husband’s missions trips to Mexico, she met a young man named James Dale Sargent who she married and raised her four children with. They moved to Mesa, AZ in 1996. In 2008, she supported her husband in founding Golden Censer Ministries through which he was able to influence and support other ministers from all over the world. She also found enjoyment in cooking, spending time with her grandchildren, and telling stories. However, her life’s mission was to win souls for Christ and to share God’s love.

Those who loved Felipa will remember not only her strength and generosity, but also the stories, laughter, and little moments that made her who she was. We will always remember her banter with her husband, the laughter and personality she brought into a room, and, above all, the seemingly endless love and devotion she had for her children, her grandchildren, her family, and all those fortunate enough to become part of her life.

She left to join her daughter Ruth and husband James in heaven but left behind her three children; Issac, his wife Ariadna, Nuvia, and Esther; her beloved grandchildren; Lucas, Abigail, Camila, Elias, Rebecca, Julian, Azul; her bonus children Evelyn and Efrain, and her bonus grandchildren; Javier and Jared.

This servant of the Most High God will be greatly missed.
