Obituary

Esther Mae (Boyer) Lancaster of Mesa, Arizona; passed away on January 17, 2016. She was born in Van Buren County, Iowa. She also lived in Des Moines, Cedar Rapids and Marion, Iowa and worked at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids for 28 years. She married Ray Lancaster in May of 1958. In addition to Ray, Esther is survived by two sons: Jerry (Cleremont, Georgia) and Dennis (Mesa); one daughter: Kathy Lockhart (Mesa), six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Services will be held at 4:00 pm, Thursday, January 21 st at Bunker’s University Chapel, 3529 E. University Dr. in Mesa, Arizona.

Please accept my heartfelt sympathies. My heart goes out to the family. Death is something we will never get use to. In fact, God’s Word refers to death as an enemy (1 Corinthians 15:26). It is comforting to know that very soon our loving Heavenly Father, Jehovah, will remove death once and for all and give us the opportunity to see our loved ones again here on the earth.
