Elaine Gardner Malone

On April 21, 2026, Elaine Gardner Malone passed peacefully from this world in Emmett, Idaho at the age of 97.

Elaine was the last to join her 8 siblings and parents, but also her two children, Anita Keller (Ron) and Lloyd Jr. (Sue), who proceeded her in death. Most of all, she was eager to be reunited with her husband, Lloyd Olen Malone, once again.

Born on January 17,1929 in Snowflake, Arizona, where she lived until she met Lloyd. They were married on April 10, 1947. They were married 60 years until Lloyd’s passing in 2007.

Their legacy consists of 9 children, 40 grandchildren, 114 great- grandchildren and 22 great- great grandchildren.

Elaine served many callings in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, including Cub Scouts, Primary chorister, organist and was an ordained temple worker.

Elaine was known for her many hours of service for others.

Elaine and Lloyd together served three missions together in Dorset, England; Portland, Oregon and were service missionaries for the Young Adult Ward.

Elaine’s thoughts were of her children and she wanted us to be happy and well.

Elaine is survived by her children: Kathy Tolman (Rod), Scott (Tammy), Carol Malone, Susan Cooper (Martin), David (Jacque), Elizabeth Stark (Joe), and James Russell.

A Celebration of Life for our mother will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 1:00 PM.
