Dwayne Roger Awerkamp, 81, passed away March 23, 2017 in Tempe, Arizona. Funeral services will be Friday, March 31, 2017 at 10 AM, preceded by a visitation at 9 AM, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint, 1111 E. Knox Road, Tempe, Arizona. Interment will be at the City of Mesa Cemetery.

Our sincere sympathy at the loss of Uncle Dwayne. He lived an exemplary life for all of us to follow. His genealogy work is a treasure to all of us and to those with whom he has now among. We have wonderful memories of the weekend we spent with he and Jackie as they took us to their favorite Mexican food drive in. Always fun and inspiring to visit with them and learn from them. Always in awe of their intellectual prowess. How grateful we are to be part of the Awerkamp clan. Sorry we couldn’t make the funeral. With love to all of you. Blaine and Cheryl Awerkamp
