How I will miss the rare opportunities to run into you and experience your genuine happiness of running into each other. You were always fun and happy to be among family and friends. We will miss you cousin. You made my life happier every time I was with you. My and Leon’s prayers now are for your children and for Sharon and Daryl. We love you all and pray for peace and comfort during this time.

We are sorry for the loss of this member of your family. When seeing this photo of Dean, I can’t place who, but I see the characteristics of that face in his nephews and great nephews.

After Cherri had printed out the Service Information as we talked about scheduling we shared one very memorable meeting we had with Dean when we were living in Oklahoma and Dean was driving big rigs over the road. One evening we received a call from Dean and he let us know that he was driving through and he was at a truck stop very near to our house in Norman just off the I 35. Cherri and I were delighted, and headed down to the stop immediately and we were blessed to share a very wonderful hour long meal with Dean just catching up on family news. Being Military Gypsies its not often we were blessed to visit with family. Dean being on a tight schedule thought enough of us as family to stop, give us a call and invite us to dinner. For me that speaks most eloquiently of who Dean is and always will be in our hearts.

Dear Uncle Dean, thank you for being a wonderful friend, Uncle, and member of our family. I always enjoyed talking with you and our shared interest in WW2 airplanes and aviation, and history. You are missed, and we look forward to being reunited with you.
