David Arthur Smith, of Mesa, AZ passed away at the age of 80 on Friday, September 28th, 2018. He was born April 10th, 1938 to Edward Myron Smith and Ellen McGuire Smith of Mesa, AZ. He is survived by his wife Janell Peel Smith and their 5 children: Lanae Grantham, Anita Lisberg, Corwin Smith, Carrie Hinkle and Erin Homan. He was a grandfather to 11 grandchildren and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, with a viewing at 10:00am, on Friday, October 5th, 2018 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Lazona Ward, 1500 E. 6th Avenue, Mesa, Arizona 85204.
