Obituary

Darla Ann Snyder, 81, was called to sing with the angels on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 in her home in Mesa, Arizona. She led a very happy life, in her younger years she loved to travel, she loved singing, and spending time with her family telling stories of the past. She spent many years as a Title Officer.

Darla is survived by her sisters; Dorothy Towhey, Lois Schneider (Lee), Brother; Herb Snyder (Leslie), Nieces; Leigh Ann Schneider, Lindsey Bannister (Jesse), Logan Smith (Parry), Kirsten Kelly (Martin), Tami Yip (Peter), Laurie Valvardy (Pat), Nephews; Steve Snyder (Kirsten), Michael Snyder, Bill Towhey (Patsie) and many great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Herbert and Genevive Snyder and sister Chloe Snyder.

No public services will be held. The family will be holding a small celebration of life at a later date.

Darla will remain in our hearts and minds as a special sole with a song and a smile especially during holidays. We sang Christmas carols to each other over the years and I loved it. We worked together in the same field for many years from the time she was a telephone operator for Transamerica. Her Lilly Tomlin “one ringy dingy” was GREAT! I’ll be expecting her to call and sing a song. Till then ” By the light of the silvery moon………”
