DANIEL OMAR PIERSON, an Arizona native, passed away August 7, 2016, at the age of 76 in Mesa, AZ. He is survived by his wife Karene, and his daughter, Stacy McDearmon (& Curt), and son, Kelly Pierson (& Cathi), and four grandchildren, Ali Himsl (& Katy), Anna, and Dillon Harper (& Sadie), and Daniel Pierson. Services will be held in Mesa, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter–Day Saints, 7752 E. McDowell Rd., Mesa, AZ 85207 on Saturday, August 13, 2016, with a viewing at 9:00 -9:45 am, and services at 10:00 am. Internment will be at the Mesa Cemetery,1212 N. Center, Mesa. Bunker Mortuary is the attending mortuary.

To Mr. Pierson’s family, I’m very sorry for your loss. I wanted to offer you some comfort that I’ve found in the Bible. In John 11:25 Jesus said “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life.” It’s my hope that you can draw comfort and strength from this promise that we can see our dead loved ones again.
