Obituary
Carlos Magallanes, 73, born November 4, 1948, In San Pedro Coahuila Mexico Passed away peacefully on March 12, 2022, in Phoenix Arizona surrounded by his loved ones. He was charismatic, family-oriented, and a hard worker who lived his life to provide a better one for his family. He had an active life from a very young age working on the farm with his siblings and parents in Mexico; when he came to this country and got married to a beautiful woman named Rosa Vasquez. Who later passed away On April 19th, 2007 leaving him with beautiful children in her absence.
They raised 3 children; 2 sons Omar Magallanes, Carlos Magallanes Jr., and 1 daughter named Raquel Magallanes. He was an active farther in their life, and later on became a great grandfather to his grandkids named Angel Magallanes, Omar Magallanes, Gustavo-Adolfo Octavio Castro, Maribel Marie Castro, Demetrius Magallanes, and Gabriel Magallanes.
He was a man who enjoyed going on road trips with his grandkids throughout the US and Mexico, he was an avid sports watcher, with baseball and soccer being his favorites. Always instilling the importance of family in his family’s life. He got his children into sports and later on tried to get his grandchildren into sports although it didn’t work the second time around he still managed to be active in their life teaching his grandchildren how to drive and be proactive adults. He was able to still be active in his later age and to see his first Great grandchild named Aaron Castro; they shared the same birthday and shared a bond like no other. He lived a happy fulfilled life being able to watch over 3 generations of family in his old age.
