Brittnee Shields Tucker

Brittnee Shields Tucker, age 17, returned to her heavenly home on December 16, 2018 in Glamis Sand Dunes, California. She was born on September 20, 2001 in Mesa, Arizona. Her greatest loves were her family and friends. Brittnee was a feisty, fun-loving kiddo who loved animals, music, shopping, the beach in Mexico, riding the rhino at the dunes, Disneyland, camping trips and hikes with family, and taking pictures with her friends. She really loved making everyone smile – hers was contagious!

Brittnee started school in Mesa at Hawthorne Elementary, Kino Jr. High, and was currently attending PCS High School in Payson, AZ. She loved her work at Banner Payson Medical Center where she volunteered her time to those in need. Most of all she loved spending time with family – especially her cousins, and friends.

Brittnee is survived by her mom, Brandy Fain; dad, Dustin Tucker; sister, Taylor (Trevor) Childers; nephew, Jackson Childers; grandparents, Sandy Koon, and Tom and Gail Tucker; great-grandmothers, MaryLou Kesterson and Lenna Smith; and an extended family of 19 cousins and many, many aunts and uncles. She will be deeply missed by all of them. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, James Shields Fain and Jack Koon.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Friday, December 28, 2018 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints – Ridge Ward Chapel, 2220 North Harris Drive, Mesa, Arizona 85203. A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 10:40am prior to the service. Interment will be at City of Mesa Cemetery, 1212 North Center Street, Mesa, Arizona 85201.
