About Anthony James Ford

Anthony James Ford (Tony) of Mesa, Arizona, passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at the age of 60.

Anthony was born to parents Jimmie Earl and Ida Mae Ford on October 19 th , 1959 in Paris, France.

Anthony married Gloria Bowles from the UK in April 2002, having met on AOL Chat 4 years prior. Tony worked at Motorola/General Dynamics for over 20 plus years.

Tony is survived by his loving wife, Gloria, son, Terrick, daughter in law, Veronica. His sisters, Anastacia and Portia, stepchildren, Vanessa, Matthew and Emma. His grandchildren, Victoria (Tori), Christopher, Brianna, Jason and Natalie and several nieces and nephews.

Tony requested a quiet cremation. His family will be holding a private memorial service for the scattering of the ashes shortly thereafter. My condolences go out to Tony’s family. What a compassionate wonderful human being Tony was. He was always kind, positive and up lifting. I worked for General Dynamics too for 35 years and although Tony and I didn’t know each other well we’d see each other in passing and there was always small talk and he would brighten my day. Just look at Tony and you can see all of those wonderful qualities, he was a one of a kind. A man that you can be very proud of and he will be missed.
