About Edward Alvin Sproul Jr
Edward Alvin Sproul Jr., also known as Peter, (age 66) unexpectedly passed away peacefully in his sleep on October 16th, 2025.
He was born November 10, 1958 in Denver, Colorado and resided in Mesa, AZ before his death.
He was a loving father to Edward Alvin Sproul III, Shannon Boyd, and Heather Larson. He was a beloved grandpa to his 8 grandchildren; Brigg, Brooke, Nolan, Smith, Ezra, Quinn, Ethan, and Kaylee.
Peter was a locksmith for over 35 years and never allowed being “shortened by a foot” at the age of 21 to slow him down. He grew up in a house full of sisters and loved providing continuous entertainment, love and support. He had fond memories of his time living on a sailboat in Marina Del Rey and in his later years spending time with his grandchildren and playing Bingo weekly.
He was a companion to Joyce Sproul and will be missed dearly. He will be remembered as someone who showed love unconditionally, valued honesty and truth, and was a constant confidant to his children.
The grief we feel with his absence only shows the love we felt from him during his time on Earth, which his family will forever be grateful for.
A celebration of life will be held in his honor with close family and friends. We thank those for their outpouring of love during this difficult time.

Pete joined our bingo group several years ago. He became a friend to all of us and we will miss him. My deepest sympathies for your loss, I am still in shock over his passing. May he rest in peace.

Pete will be missed by everyone who got to know him. He joined our bingo group and always made us laugh. It is still had to believe that we have lost our friend. Prayers for his family and know that he will be missed.
