Oh Sam. You will probably never see this, but it will help me to still say how terribly sorry I am at the loss of your Mom five years ago. She was such a warm, fun and wonderful parent. I so enjoyed our parent-teacher conferences with her long ago at Entz Elementary. Her eyes sparkled when we spoke of you and her love for you shined through.
Many years ago you made a card for me “The Top Ten Reasons Why I Love Mrs. Foor”. It has a big pink flower one the front and I can feel your mother’s help that she gave you making the card. All these years it has been on my refrigerator and not a week goes by that I don’t pick to up, flip it over and read your words. I have many memories from all my students over the years, but not one other has been out in the open and given me such pleasure every day. I think of you every day. No other student touched me like you did Sam. I now will always think of your Mom when I look at that pink flower. I think it has graced four refrigerators over the years!
Please Sam, if there is any chance of you ever seeing this, pass along my love and condolences to your father, brothers and sisters.
Know that I think of you daily. I see that little boy with the impish grin coming over to tell me when another teacher or Principal needed to speak to me, that I forgot to turn off my mic and you could hear everything we were saying. You are in my heart forever and I will never forget you and your Mom.
Love,
Nancy Foor

Mary was a blessing to everyone she came into contact with. She was so welcoming, fun, generous and creative. The quilting group will miss her dearly. Praying for your family.

Mary was extravagantly kind and pleasant. It seems so surreal that she’s no longer with us. She will be sorely missed.
Divine comfort to family and friends mourning this irreparable loss.
