About Carolyn Ruth Summers

Carolyn Ruth Summers, 75, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2025, in Mesa.

She was born on August 12, 1950, in Byars, Oklahoma, and spent most of her life in Mesa, surrounded by the family, friends, and community she cherished.

Carolyn will be remembered for her kind heart, generosity, and the way she made everyone feel welcome and cared for. Throughout her life, she worked at McAfee Consolidated, served as a substitute teacher, and later enjoyed many years with H&R Block.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Jim; her children, Tonna, Jimmy, Sarah, and Scott; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

 

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Bunker’s University Chapel, 3529 E. University Dr., Mesa. For more information, please visit www.bunkerfuneral.com.
