About John Patrick Kleiner, Jr.
John Patrick Kleiner Jr., 67, passed away Saturday December 31,2016 at home in Mesa, Arizona.
John is survived by his wife, Kerri Sue (Allen) Kleiner; his sons, Aaron (Melissa) Kleiner and Andy (Tracy) Kleiner; his daughters, Kristy (David) Call and Jenny (Jeff) Johnson; his brother, Kent (Cindy) Kleiner; 7 grandchildren; and many close friends. John was a Retired Administrator for Mesa Public Schools.
A public viewing will be held Friday, Jan. 6, 2017 from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held Saturday Jan. 7, 2017 at 10 AM. The viewing & the funeral will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 925 N. Harris Dr., Mesa, AZ 85203.

I recently read about the loss of your dear loved one. Although we are not acquainted personally, please accept my condolences. Losing a dear loved one can leave a very empty space in one’s life. Please find strength, hope, and comfort in the God of Comfort (2 Corinthians 1:3, 4).

I’m very sorry for your loss, and I wanted to offer you some comfort that I’ve found in the Bible. Isaiah 25:8 says “God will swallow up death forever” and he promises to comfort us, saying he “will wipe away the tears from all faces.” I hope this verse brings you some comfort in this hard time.

My association with John in the mission field and later as a colleague in the Mesa Public Schools was one of appreciation for his intellect, humor and compassionate nature. A good man from a good family who will be deeply missed in a world he made better.
