About Edward Earl Johnson
Edward Earl Johnson, 75, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2026 surrounded by his family.
He was born on March 27, 1950 in Mesa, Arizona to Earl and Emma Udall Johnson.
He spent the majority of his life helping build the legacy that his father started- Phoenix Sand and Rock (PSR) and Johnson Stewart Johnson Mining (JSJM). He was a helicopter pilot and loved aviation, he also owned JSJ Aviation with his partners in Mesa.
He loved everything about the West and Arizona. He found his real life love and passion in horses, mules, and cattle ranching.
He loved the people of the Lehi area and served as a Bishop of Lehi 1st ward in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the mid 90s.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Joyce.
He is survived by his eternal companion Jinx Winkelmann Johnson, his three siblings Janice, Phyllis and Clifford. His children Juli, Edward Jr, Tiffany and Wesley. Also, his 10 grandchildren.
