About Darrell Eugene Hardison
Darell Eugene Hardison was born February 9, 1938 and passed peacefully on September 23, 2020. He is survived by his wife Sandra, sons Kenneth, Steven, Randall, and daughter Andrea. He also leaves 23 grandchildren and 43 great grandchildren.
As a lifelong Arizona native, Darrell served 33 years as a phoenix fire fighter and Arsons investigator. He was known as a good natured practical joker and drove fire trucks like there was no tomorrow.
He also served in positions in his church as a Boy Scout leader, Stake clerk, Ward mission leader and High Priest group leader. He also served a mission for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints alongside his wife as Family History missionaries at the Mesa Genealogy library.
Known for his kind, caring demeanor, infectious smile, baby blue eyes, he told the best stories ever and there was nothing he couldn’t fix. He is loved and is missed by all.

Every good thing that was already told about Darrell is true. He was a great neighbor excellent husband and friend. An exceptional father and the funniest man in the Fire Department. He will always be in my heart. He and Sandy are the dearest friends I’ve had. And your children were blessed with wonderful beautiful parents.
