About Cynthia Watson Riggs

Cynthia Watson Riggs, 67 years, was called home on February 13, 2026, in Mesa, Arizona. She was born June 26, 1958, in Rexburg, Idaho.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, always serving those around her. She loved life and her family.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Lyle and Joan (Covington) Watson.  She is survived by her  brother Robert (Debbie) Watson, loving husband of 45 years, Scott Riggs, five children, Angela (David) Clouse, Candice (Jeff) Arnett, Ryan (Dasha) Riggs, Kalee (Austin) Arnett and Kelcie (Cavin) Shiflet, fourteen grandchildren, Kadence (Rusty) Owens, Addisyn, McKinzie, Ella, Remi, Olivia, Rowen, Riggs, Ruby, Winnie, Gigi, Rue, Arlo and Finn.  

She will be deeply missed and her legacy will live on.

Visitation is Sunday, February 22, 2026, from 6-8pm at Bunker’s Garden Chapel, 33 N. Centennial Way in Mesa and one hour before services. Funeral services are Monday, February 23, 2026, at 10am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 745 N Val Vista Dr., Mesa, AZ 85205.  Interment will follow at the City of Mesa Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations can be made in memory of Cyndy Riggs to Hospice of the Valley.  The family appreciates the care Cyndy received from the non-profit organization.
