Noreen Lockwood Adams passed away on October 1, 2022, after a 19-year battle with cancer. Noreen was born in Burlington, Vermont on December 30, 1948, to Norris and Eva Edwards. Her beautiful legacy continues through her and Ronald’s three children, Julie Carmen (John III), Jason Adams (Kathy). and Jennifer Ray (Nate) and her ten incredible grandkids and two beautiful great-grandbabies. Noreen was a kindhearted soul loved by all. She was goofy, easily scared, beautiful, and one heck of an animal lover. Those who knew Noreen never regretted doing so. She welcomed and cared for everyone as if they were her own. Noreen was not only a wife of 50 years but also a mother and a caring, most loving grandmother to her grandchildren. All of her family and friends will deeply miss her. Noreen is preceded in death by her loving husband, Ronald Paul Adams, and her amazing parents. A viewing will be held at the Bunker University Chapel 3529 E University on Friday, October 14th, from 5-7 p.m. and another at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Building located at 1911 N 24th St in Mesa from 10:00-10:45 a.m. on October 15th with the funeral following at 11 a.m. The graveside service will be at 1 p.m. at the Mesa Cemetery located at 1212 N. Butch Ray

Everyone who knew James Walter Ray knew him as Butch Ray.   At age 79 he died in his sleep Wednesday morning, September 28, 2022 at his home in Gilbert where he had lived for almost 50 years.  He was born August 6, 1943 to James Walter Ray Sr. and Leah Sabin.  He was the 4^th of six children, 3 sisters and 2 brothers who were raised on south Lazona Drive in Mesa, Arizona.  His brother Wilford died as an infant.

Butch participated in the band, pole vaulting and FFA at Mesa High School graduating in 1961.  He attended BYU for one year and served a 2 year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Idaho in the Northwestern States Mission.

Butch married Linda Diane Merrill on September 9, 1976 in Mesa.  Linda brought a son, Jared Brown, to the marriage and Butch brought a daughter and a son, Tanis and Mike.  Soon after their marriage Sharon Esson, age 14, came to them as a bonus child.  Together they had four more children, Rocky, Sam, Jalin and Susie making eight children in total.

Butch worked on his father’s dairy from a young age and suffered a leg injury at age 8 when he fell into a corn chopper.  He was lucky to have survived.  Butch was no stranger to hard work managing a dairy where there was work to do 7 days a week.  He and his brother Lyal took over Racrest Dairy after their father had a stroke and Butch later bought out Lyal when he moved to Texas.  One of his greatest skills was fixing motors, engines or anything with moving parts.  When the dairy sold, Butch continued in the agriculture business driving his own truck hauling hay and green chop.  After his personal truck was destroyed by a fire, he drove a truck for Pete Harris of Dark Thirty Trucking well past retirement age.

In the 70s and 80s Butch was an avid competitor in Tractor Pulls, actually building the tractor with Jim Harris.  He traveled to California as well as eastern states placing at the top in many competitions.  In his younger years he won many trophies in drag racing at the Bee Line Race Track.  He liked to go fast and knew how to rev up the engine!

He is survived by his devoted wife Linda, 8 children—Tanis Crofford (Steve) of Gilbert; James Mikel (Katie Ewing) of Mesa; Jared Merrill Brown (Marliena Ellis) of Mesa; Sharon Esson Perez (“Sonny” Manuel) of Olney, Texas; “Rocky” Calvin Philip Ray (Lorie McBride) of Las Cruses, NM; Samuel Isaac Ray (Michelle Martinez) of ­Casa Grande;  Jalin Klemme (Patrick) of Glendale; Susan Garcia of Gilbert; He was blessed with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren;  Sisters, Leah Elaine Ashcroft (Phillip—deceased) of Mesa, Glenna Shappell (Lyle) of Gilbert, and his brother Lyal Harold Ray (Dorothy) of Selma, California.

He is preceded in death by a brother, David Wilford Ray and a sister Margo Wendelboe (Charles Alison Wendelboe–deceased) as well as his parents.

After a cancer diagnosis in 2013, Butch had life altering health issues as well as extreme knee pain.  Despite the struggles Butch demonstrated unwavering faith, wanting to be in church every week.  He was a kind hearted man, considerate of others, always finding the good in people.  Through the years he always carried a positive attitude even in the midst of trials.

Butch will be missed!

Cherrial Josephine Woods Morris/Updike of Mesa Arizona peacefully passed away at her home the evening of September 25, 2022, with her family at her side. She was 92 years old.

Cherrial was born April 24, 1930 in Miami Arizona to Royal Grant Woods and Genevieve Josephine Jacobson Woods, descendants of Mormon pioneers. To family and friends, she was Cheri. She was the middle child, along with her older brother Roy and younger sister Ruth Ann.

Shortly after she was born, the family moved to Thatcher Arizona, where she was raised and educated. Cheri had an active youth that involved piano music lessons, playing sports, and summers with her mom, brother, and sister at the family cabin on Mt. Graham outside of Thatcher. Cheri attended Thatcher Elementary School and Thatcher High School, where she excelled at every level. She was an excellent athlete, participating in basketball and volleyball. In her senior year, she was President of the Girls Club, President of the Girls Athletic Association, played in the student band (clarinet), a member of student council, and head cheerleader. When she graduated in the spring of 1948, she was also Salutatorian. She would no doubt attribute much of her success to her parents who, as she once said, “made us kids feel like we were so special and so smart and intelligent. We were taught we could do anything. Nothing was out of range of our abilities if we wanted it badly enough to work for it.” Even with all the accomplishments, she remained humble and gracious, always kind and caring to others.

Towards the end of her Senior year of high school, Cheri started dating Max Arnold Morris, a student a Gila College (Eastern Arizona JC) and a former star athlete at Safford High School. The relationship grew quickly, and Max and Cheri were married in the Arizona Temple Church of Jesus Christ of Ladder Day Saints in Mesa on September 15, 1948. While living in Safford, Stan was born in July of 1949, with Dan being born in February, 1951. Marissa was born in Phoenix in October, 1961. Early in their marriage, the family moved frequently following job opportunities for Max. From Safford to Washington DC, back to Safford, to Tucson, back to Safford, and then to Scottsdale, where Max was moving up the latter at Valley National Bank. The family moved to Phoenix in 1960 to be closer to the downtown office of the bank.

Life during these years was active and family oriented. Stan and Dan were both standout athletes. Marissa was also a gifted athlete and an accomplished singer. Cheri managed the household, was active in her ward, and found time to teach piano lessons. She even went back to school in 1973 and earned her Registered Medical Assistant Degree. She was also an accomplished seamstress and quilt maker. When the children were older, she found time to accompany singers and performing groups as a piano and organ player. She managed a travel agency and traveled all over the world. Through these years she never lost focus on the value of family and extended family, especially the relatives back in Safford and Thatcher. She was a dedicated member of her church, serving in various positions.

Several years after her marriage to Max ended, Cheri reconnected with an old friend, Earl Updike, in 1994. They were married in the Arizona Temple in Mesa on September 2, 1994 and spend many years traveling the US and Canada going from one adventure to another but always finding time to catch up with their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Cheri was a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Ladder Day Saints. At every stage of her life and every new city she moved to, she devoted her time to the service of the church and helping others. Her faith sustained her in times of sorrow and enriched her in times of joy. While her family grieves at her passing, they are comforted in knowing she has gone home to her heavenly father.

Cherri was a physically beautiful woman all her life and that beauty carried through to inside her heart. She never met a stranger and would always make people feel welcome. She was kind and patient and rarely got upset. She was a ray of sunshine in so many people’s lives and will be missed greatly. She is survived by her children: Stan Morris (Patty), Dan Morris (DeLayne), and Marissa Morris-Harrell (Randall), her stepchildren Alan Updike (Julie), David Updike (Susan), and Karen Grover (Thomas); 31 Grandchildren and Step grandchildren, and many, many Greatgrandchildren and Great
Greatgrandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Earl Updike, her parents, Royal Grant Woods and Genevieve Josephine, her brother Roy, her stepson James Updike, stepdaughter Lorraine Viccellio and her husband John.

As we honor her today, we should remember the words of one of those Grandchildren who said it best “My grandmother will be heralded and welcomed by angels in the Kingdom of God.” We will miss you “Cheri!”

Memorial service will be held October 7, 2022, at the LDS Church, 1430 N. Recker Rd., Mesa Arizona. Public viewing will commence at 9 am and a private family viewing will commence at 9:45 am. The Church/Memorial Service commences at 10am, with Bishop Karl Johnson officiating, followed by a burial service at 4:00 pm at the Thatcher Cemetery in Thatcher, Arizona.

Shirlene Lee was born in Mesa, AZ on April 23, 1939 to loving parents, Eddie Charles and Verna Lewis. She was the second child of six. First came Marilyn who died as an infant, then Shirlene, then Wayne J., followed by Eddie Verlyn, who was stillborn. Lynelle was then born, and finally Jerry Lynn who also died as an infant. In her early years, she moved around the country and lived in El Paso, Texas, and Tennessee due to her dad’s job as a gas truck deliverer.

The family moved back to Mesa, Arizona when she was six years old. She loved living on “Lewis Lane” where all of her aunts and uncles lived. Her cousins meant everything to her, and she enjoyed hanging out with them. Based upon her dad’s job, it was time to move again and they ended up in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Even though she would have rather stayed in Mesa, she made many lifelong friends.

Mom had just broken off an engagement, when she met her future husband, Paul Michael Lee, who was in the Air Force. He proposed after only two weeks but she said, “No!” In the meantime, Mike was welcomed into the family with open arms. After dating him for awhile, she realized that she loved him but he wasn’t going to ask again , so she had to be sneaky and help him ask her again. That time, she said, “Yes,” and they were sealed in the Mesa Temple on May 16, 1958.

Their first daughter, Michelle was born in Albuquerque, and then they moved to San Jose, California where Shirlene made many friends and was well known for throwing parties for their young married friends. While there, her second daughter, Cindy Lorene was born. They only stayed for a few more months, when Mike was offered a job at Motorola in Arizona, so off they went again. Shirlene was happy to get back to the Valley, and they moved into a home in Tempe, AZ. Kristine Joy was born almost eight years later after many miscarriages.

Mom had many church callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, which included working with the children, teens, and the women. Shirlene was even a Den Mother even though she didn’t have any sons. The calling she is most remembered for was being the Activity Chairman. She had that calling in three separate wards. She always gave credit to her wonderful committee members for their success.

Shirlene had many qualities that drew people to her. Her beautiful smile was what her husband claimed made him fall in love with her. She was also a wonderful listener. Her daughters said that she was always there for them and listened to everything they had to say even through their adult years. It wasn’t uncommon to see young children including her nieces and nephews hanging around her telling her all kinds of things while she listened intently. She was the same with adults too. It was one of her greatest qualities.

Even though her last years had been filled with health issues, she had a good attitude and especially when she needed to have her daughter, Krissy as a caregiver. She never wanted to be a burden and she wasn’t. Her family will greatly miss her.

Yvonne Ruth Larson, 74 passed away peacefully surrounded by her Husband and Children on September 30th, 2022, Mesa Arizona. She was Born November 3rd, 1947 in Cardston, Alberta, Canada. To Joesph and Mabel Worman. Yvonne was a nurse for 30 plus years and lived a wonderful caring life. She loved spending time with her kids and grandkids, was a devoted disciple of Jesus Christ and loved her Church. In 1967 she married her high school sweetheart Fredrick Card Larson, and they were lucky to have celebrated 55 years together. Raising their five children Justin Larson (Melissa Larson), Kareen Larson (Andi Larson), Tara Jensen (Bill Jensen), Shayla Majors (Rory Majors), Jared Larson (Victoria Larson). She was preceded in death by her Father (Joesph Russyl Workman), Mother (Mabel Workman) and sister (Joanne Hogg). Yvonne loved her Children but she loved her 18 grandchildren more starting with Avery, Riley, and Aydan Larson, Brendan, Trajan, and Lincoln Larson, Jerika aka #1 Princess, Addisyn, Jayden, and Maddox Jensen, Seth, Brenna, Jake, and Jase Majors and Erin, Shelby, Emma, and Frederick Larson and 3 great grandchildren Nykes, Lennox, Rumi Geddes.

We will be having a celebration of life on a later date in November in Mesa, Arizona

Vince Shawn Blackwater, 43 of Mesa Arizona, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 in Gilbert, Arizona.

Vince was born on June 16,1979 in Shiprock New Mexico into the Bit’ahnni (under His Cover) Clan, Navajo Tribe, born for the Akimel O’odham (Pima) Tribe. Vince graduated from Westwood High School, Mesa, Az.

Vince enjoyed sports, attending the games with family. He was an Arizona Cardinal fan, Boston Red Sox fan and his biggest team was the Los Angeles Lakers, players Magic & Kobe, which he loved since he was a young boy. He enjoyed listening to music. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and his family.

Vince is survived by his sons, Isiah (Kaylyn), Kobe (Camelia), and Justin Blackwater. Grandchildren, Kateri, Bryson and Alana Blackwater. Companion Vanessa Yazzie. Parents Errol and Geri Blackwater. Sister Tawnya (Stanley). Nieces Renae and Shayna Blackwater. Uncles Harold Freeland, Wilburton Oklahoma and Aaron Freeland, Las Cruces NM. Aunt Charlene Freeland, Teec Nos Pos Arizona. Aunts Michelle (Mark)Leos, Vicki and Kim Blackwater. Grandmother Mary Blackwater. Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Vince has a very large family who love him.

Vince is preceded in death by his Grandmother Gail G. Freeland and Grandfather Harold J. Freeland Sr. Aunt Andrea Perkins and Uncle Titus K. Blackwater.

It is with great sadness that we announce that Donna Jean Bender (91) passed away peacefully in her home on September 26th, 2022 in Mesa, Arizona. She was born on March 3rd 1931 in Salem, Ohio to Hazel and Russell Allison. Donna was the 2nd of 6 children. She married the love of her life, Herman Bender, on February 4th, 1950 and they were happily married until his death from cancer on April 26th, 2004. Shortly after their marriage, they welcomed their daughter Penny. They started a new life in Arizona in 1956. Their son, Carl AKA Junior, was born in 1962. Donna was an avid reader.

Donna is predeceased by her husband Herman, son Carl, one brother, and two sisters. 

Survivors include 2 sisters, her daughter Penny, grandchildren Scott, Lindsay, Christopher, Tiffany, Nicholas, and 3 step grandchildren Anthony, Andrew, and Aimee. Donna is also survived by 5 great grandchildren Gage, Jacque, Aurora, Caynan, and Elizabeth, and other family members and friends.  

Donna brought joy and a smile to the face of everyone she met. She will be missed for her sense of humor and devotion to her family. We all loved her “high as the sky and deep as the ocean.”

A visitation is scheduled at 10:30 AM on October 10th at Bunker’s Garden Chapel, 33 North Centennial Way, Mesa, AZ 85201.

A graveside service will be scheduled immediately after at Mesa City Cemetery, 1212 N Center St, Mesa, AZ 85201.

Demetrios Agathangelides was called home on September 24, 2022. He was born in the Greek village of Patris on October 26,1937 to Gregory and Elpida Agathangelides. He lead an extraordinary life full of wonder, joy, adventure, and compassion. “Demo” came to America to attend Ricks College (now BYU- Idaho) in Rexburg, Idaho and pursued studies in agriculture. He then went on to receive his bachelor’s degree in plant science from Utah State University. He fell in love with this beautiful country as well as an amazing young woman, Diane Moser, who he married in 1962. They built a great family and a few businesses together. They lived in North Logan, Utah and West Valley City, Utah before retiring to Gilbert, Arizona. His greatest joy was participating in the lives of his family and helping his neighbors.

Demetrios was proceeded in death by his dear wife Diane Moser Agathangelides and his brother and his wife, Anthony and Olympia Agathangelides. He was later blessed with additional love through marriage to his second wife Mary Legner Foley.

He is survived by his dear wife Mary, his two daughters, and all of their children: Angela (Charles) Smith, Jacob Demetrios Smith, Spencer Charles (Hayden) Smith, Isaac Sidney Smith, and Rachel Hope (Hayden) Frey, Athena (Justin) Haley, Logan Anthony Haley, and Taylor Hope Haley. His brother’s children also mourn his passing: Gregory Anthony (Vladimirka) Agathangelides and Elpida Agathangelides. Through his wife Mary and her 5 sons, he leaves behind additional loving family members: John Thomas (Melissa) Foley, Aiden Foley, Zachary Foley, Sarah Foley, Richard Anthony (Kathlene, deceased) Foley, Leo Foley, Henry Foley, Philip Andrew (Gretchen) Foley, Markis Foley, Matthew Foley, Owen Rose, Colin Rose, Patrick William (Heather) Foley, Gerald Stephan (Sandy) Foley, Lance Foley, and Crystal Foley.

Visitation will take place Friday, September 30, 2022 from 5:00-6:30pm. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 11:15am. Both events will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel at 3580 E Houston Ave. Gibert, AZ. Demetrios will be laid to rest at the City of Mesa Cemetery.

He was a very special, hardworking man with unconditional love for his family. He also loved to relax and watch farm videos on Youtube and play volleyball with his children.

He is survived by his parents Lucius and Joy Setoyant, siblings David, Lucius and Dustin Setoyant, Sr., a sister and brother in law, Michelle and Alphonso Gregorio, his companion, Sierra Navenma and two children, Roselyn and Joshua Setoyant, six nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Edison and Nancy Setoyant, maternal grandparents, Roger and Joan Dixon and nephew, Dustin Setoyant, Jr.

Jeffrey Steven Miller, beloved husband, father, brother, and Poppy, passed away in his home on September 23, 2022 in Mesa, Arizona.  Even at 75, Poppy remained intellectually curious and well read.  He loved teaching, loved movies and classic rock, and loved his Savior.  He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He led a life of service to family, dental patients, church, and community.  Poppy cherished being surrounded by family.  So much so that he was incapable of short trips to Costco, Home Depot, or anywhere else alone if he could help it!  Poppy will be missed by all.  But his legacy will be continued through his wife, Collett; sister, Carol; children, Kyla, Seth, Haya, David, Joshua, Esther, Jacob, and Aaron; and 19 grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel 3345 E. Maryan Titus Hansen, 82, died peacefully surrounded by family on September 23, 2022, at her home in Mesa, Arizona of causes incident to age. Maryan was born August 5, 1940, in Heber City, Utah to Bliss Eugene Titus and Leda Elizabeth (Murri) Titus. She was the youngest of five children. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend to all she knew.

Maryan cherished her parents and siblings and had a very happy childhood growing up in the beautiful Heber Valley in the shadow of Mount Timpanogos. She loved sharing stories and fond memories from her youth. She graduated from Wasatch High School in 1958 and was proud of her five-foot nine-inch stature. During Maryan’s life she was often asked how she knew so much about rifles. She would tell people her father was a master rifle and barrel maker, and she helped him in his shop performing various chores when she was young (mostly keeping her dog Pepper out of mischief). She was proud that he made rifles for people all over the world, and even made a custom rifle for one of her favorite Western actors, John Wayne.

Upon graduating high school, Maryan worked at Mountain Bell Telephone Company as a switchboard/PBX telephone operator in Heber City. She then moved to Salt Lake City and worked for the American Telephone & Telegraph Company as a PBX operator. Maryan was then recruited to work for the University of Utah as a PBX operator.

In 1963, Maryan went to a church dance at the Terrace Ballroom and met a returned missionary named Robert Hansen. She went home from the dance and told one of her roommates that she met the man she was going to marry, even though she couldn’t remember his name. After knowing each other for three months, Robert took Maryan to This is the Place Monument in Salt Lake and said to her, “This is the place!” When she replied, “I know!”, he said, “no, this is the place where I ask you to marry me.” She was overjoyed and quickly said, “Yes!” On August 8, 1963, they were married in the Salt Lake Temple by Harold B. Lee. They were married for 59 years and were indeed ‘Helpmates’ and ‘Helpmeets’ to each other, enjoying the good times, and helping each other through the difficulties and challenges they faced together. Maryan and Robert had seven children: two single boys, a set of twin girls (8lbs each), and sixteen months later triplets, two girls and a boy (6lbs each). All of whom were born within 6 years of each other. She loved being a wife, mother, and homemaker.

Maryan had a wonderful sense of humor and a quick wit. She had many talents and hobbies; some of which included sewing, crocheting, quilting, baking, ceramics, and being extremely organized. She spent countless hours making clothes, quilts, and blankets for family and friends. She loved traveling and traveled extensively with her husband throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Maryan enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends. She also loved the outdoors and going on camping trips with her family in the mountains and to many reservoirs and lakes in Utah, of which Strawberry and Mirror Lake were favorites. Throughout her life, she and her husband bought and sold real estate which included houses and apartments that they rented.

She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and happily served in many callings throughout her life. She even financed her sister Reba Titus on her mission to the Eastern States mission in the early sixties. Maryan loved her Father in Heaven, her Savior, Jesus Christ, and the restored gospel and loved going to church, the temple, and listening to beautiful music, especially the Tabernacle Choir.

Maryan spent her life serving, giving, loving, teaching, listening and being a true friend. She was a true example of Christlike love.

While she will be dearly missed here on earth, her family and loved ones rejoice in the fact that she has now returned home and been reunited with her parents and many beloved family and friends.

Maryan is survived by her husband Robert; three sons and four daughters, Steven (Stacey), Michael (Rebecca), Jill (Mark) Davis, Julie (Dan) Canepa, Lori Gomez, Linda, Paul (Michelle); 15 grandchildren; and one sister, Diann (Roger) Shields. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Russell Emery (Victoria) Titus, and sisters, Stella (Hal) Fowkes and Reba Titus.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am (PDT) on Friday, September 30, 2022, at the Adobe Ward Chapel located at 2835 East Des Moines, Mesa, AZ. Shawn Leigh Hartnett, 59, of Tempe AZ, lost her 2^nd battle against cancer on August 12, 2022. She was at Banner Gateway Medical Center in Gilbert, AZ. She was born to Robert and Joan (Rist) Hartnett on May 6, 1963. She graduated high school in Montezuma, KS in 1982. Her greatest accomplishment was the birth of her amazing son, Nathan S. Hartnett in November of 1983. Shawn resided in Tempe, AZ with her beloved and wonderful sister, LeAnn Hartnett. She was a true Dallas Cowboy fan and enjoyed rooting on the Kansas Jayhawks. She enjoyed going to Car Shows, shopping, and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her son, Nathan S. Hartnett, his wife, Amandria Hartnett, and their daughter, Addison Hartnett, of Turpin, OK. Her sister, Jodi LeAnn Hartnett, of Tempe, AZ. Daughter Brandi Abel, her husband Jason Abel, and their daughters, MaHaley, Nevaeh, and Piper Abel, of Springhill, MO, and many beloved family members.

She is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Joan Hartnett, and her Uncle, Jerry Hartnett. A celebration of life will be held in Tempe, AZ, Liberal, KS, and Ottawa, KS. Dates and places will be announced later on through social media. In Lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to the cancer foundation so more research can be put into finding a cure for ALL types of cancer.

LeRoy(Shortbus), 66, passed away on September 17, 2022 in Mesa, Arizona in the presence of family.

LeRoy was born in Tucson, Arizona to Colleen and LeRoy Miller. At an early age Colleen remarried and LeRoy was lovingly adopted by Charles(Chuck) Radcliff. Colleen and Chuck later adopted Michael and Mary Colleen; LeRoy’s new brother and sister. The Radcliff’s moved from California to Utah in 1968 for a better place to raise the kids. They lived on a farm outside the small town of Spring Lake. They had lots of animals and growing up LeRoy enjoyed riding horses, hanging out with friends, basketball, hunting and camping.

LeRoy graduated Payson High School in ’73 (Where they shot the movie Footloose) and soon after completed Tech college as a Diesel Mechanic. LeRoy married Sherrie Basset January 07, 1976 in the Salt Lake City Temple and made their first home in Provo, UT. LeRoy and Sherrie had two children, Matthew Scott and Kimberly Ann, who were both called to be angels in 1976 and 1978. LeRoy worked in steel and woodworking factories he moved to Arizona where he married Paula Sparrow on February 04, 1985 in Phoenix, AZ. Two years later they were blessed with their daughter, Courtney Marie. LeRoy’s work in cabinetry relocated him to Sparks, NV. LeRoy started a new chapter in his life in 1990 with Peggy Sue Cain and 2 year old Cody Lynn (Runtbucket) in Sparks, NV. He worked for Nevada Shuttery and then became the manager for Fast Blinds managing multiple locations in AZ, ID, NV and even managing the opening of a location in CO.

LeRoy married Peggy on November 07, 1993 in Tempe, Arizona. LeRoy, Peggy, Courtney and Cody made a life together as LeRoy established his own business, Homefront Window Coverings, where he was successful for over 25 years in the Valley of the Sun. The Radcliff’s spent summers camping in Showlow and boating in Parker, AZ and local lakes. LeRoy also became part of the biker community and loved his two-wheeled family. He pored his love into the community as Reverend Shortbus and being the master of ceremonies for events and charity rides.

LeRoy retired working as a John Deere tractor operator for small and large grade operations. He married Mary Frame on March 09, 2013 and they lived in Queen Creek for four years. Retirement directed him to a 55+ community in mesa allowing him to remain social when his mobility was limited. He enjoyed riding his “Harley Orange” golf cart around and helping the neighbors with some fatherly advice or a friendly understanding heart. LeRoy’s most recent blessing included becoming a grandfather and meeting his granddaughter Oliva who spent a week earlier this year with him to celebrate her 5th birthday.

LeRoy is survived by his Sister Mary Colleen (Dan), Brother Michael(Sharon), Son Cody(Leigha), Daughter Courtney(Eric), Granddaughter Olivia and due any day Grandson.

Memorial will be held at Bunker Family Funeral Home on Centennial Way September 28th 10:00 AM.

Doris Mae Warren, born March 24, 1959 in Fort Ord, California was called home to the Lord on September 20, 2022. There she was rejoined with her son and many other loved ones. Left to carry on her tradition is her husband; Len Warren and two daughters (Sami and Kasi). Her legacy will also be carried for many years through her 11 grandchildren (Michael, Dakoyta, Joe, Daniel, Matthew, Jackson, Ellie, Sam, Leah, and Max) in addition to her close friends (of which there are many). As a faithful believer, she believed in people helping other people and lived her life this way. To say she changed the lives of others, is a mild statement to the impact her life had on others.  She enjoyed spending time with friends and family, working, cooking, bowling, learning to paint and most any other event that allowed her to interact with others. Her sweet soul brought many smiles and much joy to this world.  She had a voice that could fill a room and a laugh that was contagious.  It goes without saying that she is greatly loved and will be missed. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
