Daniel Thomas Haney, 35, passed away on March 4th, 2023 in Mesa, Arizona. He was born on February 3rd, 1988, the second child of Neal and Liza Haney.
Dan grew up in Mesa, Arizona, and had a happy childhood filled with laughter and play. He was an avid soccer player, and his father, Neal, coached several of his teams. Dan also loved skateboarding, playing the drums, beatboxing, and running around the neighborhood until well after dark.
Dan was a Real Estate Broker in the Manufactured Housing Industry and worked for NTH Property Management alongside his father, Neal Haney, for 16 years. He had a unique talent for seeing the best in people, even when they were at their lowest, and was always willing to lend a helping hand to his friends.
Aside from his work, Dan was an adventurous spirit who loved spending time outdoors. He graduated from Mountain View High School in Mesa, Arizona and spent his entire life in Arizona, exploring its beautiful landscapes through camping, fishing, target practice, and more. He especially loved drinking with his friends while boating on Saguaro Lake, where he would always be sure to pull a face at the most unexpected time just to make everyone laugh.
Dan is survived by his father, mother, and sister, and he will be deeply missed. He had a kind heart and infectious sense of humor that endeared him to everyone who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of generosity, loyalty, and joy.
A viewing will be held at Bunker Family Funeral Home: Garden Chapel at 33 North Centennial Way in Mesa, Az, on Tuesday, March 14th, 2023, from 6 pm to 8 pm.

Bill Dixon, 86, passed on March 4th, 2023 in Mesa, Arizona. He was born to Thelma and Meryl Dixon on November 3rd, 1936 in El Reno, Oklahoma.
Bill moved to California in the late 1950’s where he would eventually meet and marry Marlene Delivuk in 1959. They had 2 children and lived in CA & NV before settling in AZ in 1986. Bill was employed by Hughs Helicopter for many years. After Marlene passed in 2012, he settled in at a 50+ community and enjoyed playing cards and shooting pool with his friends.
Bill is survived by his daughter, Diana Sayler, of Hereford, AZ (Sons Jon of Sierra Vista, AZ and Brian of Washington, DC) and his son, Derek Dixon and wife, Lisa, of Mesa, AZ. (Daughters Jordynn of Mesa, AZ, Brooke of Tempe, AZ and Son Trevor of Irvine, CA)

Vicki Ann (Cleverley) Chapman was born August 19, 1949 and returned to her Heavenly Father on February 27, 2023. The oldest of eight children born to Grant and Marjorie Cleverley, Vicki was born in American Falls, Idaho.
During a life in the service of others, Vicki worked over 25 years for the Mesa Unified School District and held numerous callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. After retiring from MUSD, Vicki served a church mission at the Mesa Temple.
Vicki moved to Mesa in 1984 to raise her family and lived there the rest of her days.
Preceded in death by her husband, Melvin, Vicki is survived by her children Shari (Christopher) Mansfield, Melvin Russell (Claudette) Chapman, Amy (Eric) Campbell, and Rebecca (Ryan) Rodriquez.
She is also survived by siblings Marcia (Patrick) Mais, Rodney (Nancy) Cleverley, Diane (Fred) Prince, Steven (Denise) Cleverley, Dawna (Wade) Peterson, Annette (Richard) West, Marlene (Larry) Hilton, 12 grandchildren, 5 great- grandchildren, and many extended family members who loved her dearly.
At Vicki’s request, there will be a memorial service June 10, 2023.

Roger R. Johnson passed away on March 6th, 2023 after a long illness. Roger is survived by his long time love Pat Parkin; his Guardian since 6 years of age/Aunt Alma Bossard; and many cousins, nephews and niece. He is predeceased by his mother Marie, and his brothers and sisters-in-law, Romaine (Jean), and Ronald (Joan).
Roger was originally from Ithaca, New York but more recently resided in Gold Canyon, Arizona. Roger graduated from Ithaca High School and was a veteran of the USAF. After his retirement as an Industrial Designer with Hi-Speed in Ithaca, Roger and Pat toured the country in their motorhome with their dear Schnauzers before settling in Arizona. He was an avid bowler, golfer, and softball player. A long suffering NY Mets and Jets fan, he really enjoyed watching them beat up on the other NY teams.
Services will be planned at the convenience of the family at a later date.

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Salonica Almonte Vicente known as Sally or Lola Sally, our loving and devoted mother, grandmother and friend to all whose lives she touched on February 27, 2023.
She left us when sleeping peacefully after a short bout of illness in Mesa Arizona. She was in her 92nd year.
Born in the Province of Antique in Philippines on December 11, 1930, she witnessed incredible changes to her world, having at her early years having to deal with World War II residing on one of the Japanese compound.
She met and married her loving husband, Abraham Gabriel Vicente, who served 20 years in the United States Navy until he retired in 1974.
She was the beloved mother of Abraham Jr (wife Karen Vicente) of Gilbert Arizona; Rosemarie Amey (husband Maurice Amey) of Mesa, Arizona and Robert Vicente of Summerville, South Carolina. Stepmother to Josie V. Navarro (husband Martin Navarro) of Oxnard California; Michael Vicente (wife Susan Vicente) of Camarillo, California; Junie Vicente of Oxnard California.
Proud grandmother of 11 grandchildren; Travis, Ryan, Jordan Vicente; Jared and Daylan Amey; Kayla Vicente; Martin, Justin and Kevin Navarro; Dominic and Leilani Vicente.
Predeceased by her devoted husband, Abraham Vicente, her parents and many brothers and sisters.
She was known for being the ‘hugger’ and for making the best ‘Lumpia’ and ‘Pansit’ for many church potlucks. Her love for the Lord was shown everyday by her many examples, one of which was her dedicated daily 4:00 pm Bible readings. She was a college professor at Southern Mindanao College in Pagadian City before migrating to USA. A strong Christian woman at heart with the passion of cultivating people’s heart for Jesus. Most of all, she loved her family and instilled strong values that have served them well. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 16th from 6-9 PM at Bunker’s Garden Chapel, 33 N. Centennial Way, Mesa, AZ.
The celebration of life services will be held on March 17th at 9 am at Bunker’s Garden Chapel, 33 N. Centennial Way, Mesa, AZ, 480-696-6883. It will be followed by the graveside service that will be held at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, AZ

Betty Rasinski daughter of Fredrick and Jane Hole went to heaven on February 27th 2023 at the age of 74. She passed peacefully at home with her husband and two daughters. Having battled cancer for 30 years, Betty was the epitome of strength, resilience and a symbol of hope for many. She dedicated her life to her family and loved ones. Survived by her husband John Rasinski, daughters Kimberly (Kristian) Almquist and Tracy Rasinski, grandson Dylan Almquist, sister Beverly (Steve) Sudyn, niece Christine Sudyn, nephew Brian Sudyn and sister in-law Amanda (John) Poor. A celebration of life will be held at 1 pm on April 14, 2023 in Gilbert, Arizona. In lieu of flowers please send donations to The American Cancer Society.

Clarence Allen Rowley (Allen) passed away peacefully on February 26, 2023, at the age of 82, after enduring Parkinson’s disease for more than 27 years. He was born August 31, 1940, in Prescott, Arizona to Clarence Marion Rowley and Adella Portis Rowley. Allen was their 6th of 7 children. After his mother’s death, his dad remarried Madeline Smith and added 2 more siblings for a total of 9 children.
In his younger years, Allen lived in Skull Valley, AZ; Milton-Freewater, OR; Roosevelt, UT and Tempe, AZ. He also lived in Germany, serving in the Army for 3 years, 3 months, and 3 days during the Berlin Wall Crisis, as a radio technician. He was on the same base as Elvis Presley. After his Army service, he immediately returned to Germany for two and a half more years to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
He married Paula McKee on December 15, 1967, in the Mesa Arizona LDS Temple. They lived in Mesa for 55 years where they raised their 9 children. He is known for his energy, hard work, ingenuity, dedication to his family, and devout belief in Christ. Family, friends, acquaintances, and stranded travelers benefited from his good Samaritan spirit. He was a “jack of all trades” mechanic, Army, LDS missionary, electronic technician, beekeeper, finish carpenter, RV innovator and manufacturer, entrepreneur, beekeeping equipment manufacturer, and an air-conditioning contractor.
His service to others included 20 years as a Scout Leader, where he mentored boy scouts. This included 50-mile hikes in the Mazatzal Wilderness and coaching boys for their Eagle Scout rank. Some of his greatest honors were receiving the Silver Beaver Award and Scout Master of the Year. The family also had the honor of Scouting Family of the Year. Other roles that he held with Scouting were organizing Camporees and working at a district and council level.
His later year passions included wood-crafting, gardening, his own special style of poetry writing, WW II history, classical music, and watching the news.
Survived by his wife, Paula Rowley, and his children Lynnette Balentine (George), Larry (Melissa), Ginger Rowley (Don Platt), Kent (Briggite), Jesse, Brendan, Catherine Johnson (Benjamin), Jason (Romi), Loretta Brimhall (Benjamin), his grandchildren Andrew, Madisen, Wesley, Catherine, Brooks, Claire, Greyson, Adella, Everly, Callen, Taft, and Cosette and his siblings SuZan Brown (Forrest), and Steven (Melody).
Preceded in death by his parents and siblings Rebekah Heaney, Edward, Thomas, Catherine Taylor, Phyllis Christiansen, Ned, Daughter-in-Law Nicolle Rowley (Jesse), and grandson Mason (Jesse).
Services will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at the LDS Chapel 2618 N. Lindsay Rd., Mesa Az, 85213. Viewing from 9:00 am to 10:15 am, Family Prayer at 10:15 am, and Funeral Services at 10:30 am. Burial will be at the Mesa Cemetery.

John Gourlay Linton passed away peacefully in his home Sunday, February 26, 2023.
John is survived by his beloved wife Mila, his brother Richard Linton and his children John (Jennifer) Linton, Andrew (Kelly) Linton , Thomas (Joy) Linton, Sarah Sherwood, James Linton, ElmaLee (Jeff) Kirk, Charles (Marriah) Linton, and his twenty-one grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents Edward and Sarah Linton; son Edward West Linton; grandson Eden Henri Linton.
John was born on March 19th, 1944 in the town of Niagara Falls, NY. From a young age, John had an innate desire to do good. His natural ability to love everybody was felt by his family, friends and community. After graduating high school, John and his dear friend Steve drove across the country to live in California. It was there that John joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and solidified his resolve to serve the Lord and his fellow man. John decided to serve as a missionary for the church and was called to the “Southwest Indian Mission.” Here is an excerpt from John’s journal:
“In May 1966, I was serving as a missionary in the Southwest Indian Mission. I was preparing to go home and was greatly troubled. As the only member of my family that belonged to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints, I didn’t know if my family would accept my religious faith or even me. The United States was at war in Vietnam and I knew there was a good chance I would be drafted into the army immediately after my missionary service was over. The uncertainty of my future frightened me.
Elder Spencer W. Kimball, who at the time was an apostle, was visiting the mission home in Holbrook, Arizona. One afternoon I found myself behind the mission home with Elder Kimball in the garden. We began to talk and I told him of my concerns. He listened intently when looking at me and replied, ‘You are one of the Lord’s boys, and the Lord takes care of his boys.’ Needless to say I was comforted and those words sunk deep into my heart.
During the course of my life, I have often reflected upon Elder Kimball’s promise. It gave me courage serving as a soldier thousands of miles away from home. Many times in my life when I have felt overwhelmed by life’s problems, it was the assurance from a prophet of the Lord that I was one of the Lord’s boys that has enabled me to go forward.
Many years later I received a telephone call that Spencer W. Kimball, who at that time was the prophet and president of the church, was at the Mesa, Arizona temple. I left work and went immediately to the temple so I could see him. There on the steps of the temple, I told the Prophet that he probably didn’t remember me, reminded him of our first meeting & testified to him that his promise has sustained me through many hard times. I will never forget what President Kimball did next. He took both of my hands into his, looked deep into my eyes and said, ‘You look sweet and clean.’”
John Linton was uniquely good and kind. He had a genuine love for everybody he came into contact with. To be in his presence was a gift to all who knew him.
Funeral services will be Friday, March 3rd, 2023, with a private family viewing at 9:00 A.M. and funeral service at 10:00 A.M. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints, 933 E. Brown Road Mesa, AZ 85203.
Graveside service will be held at 12:00PM at City of Mesa Cemetery, 1212 N. Center St. Mesa, AZ 85201.

Bobby Mack Hurley, 84, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2023 in Gilbert, Arizona. After a long career teaching visual arts in Gainesville, Texas and in the Phoenix Union High School District, Bob retired as the Program Manager of the Visual Arts Magnet Program at South Mountain High School in Phoenix, Arizona.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Bernyce and Robert Hurley of Gainesville, Texas. He is survived by his son, Bradley Hurley, sister Beverly Yeager (Bill), longtime partner, Cecilia Peterson, her children, Kristian Miller and Kimberly Rhodes (Clint), and granddaughter Amanda Miller. In addition he leaves nieces, nephews and others he considered family.
In honor of Bob’s lifetime love of arts education, please consider a financial donation, or a gift of your time or talent to support arts education in your local community.
No memorial services will be held, however, family and friends will honor Bob’s wishes to have his ashes scattered in the Pecan Creek; Gainesville, Texas.

Logan Knight (born December 18th, 1999 as Jonathan Logan Knight) passed away on the morning of February 9th, 2023 in a tragic automobile accident in Santa Barbara, CA. He is survived by his father, David E. Knight; mother, Kathryn C. Ashby; three siblings: Sarah E. Knight, Hannah K. Flygare and David P. Knight; and grandparents Quentin L. Cook, Mary G. Cook, and Nancy R. Knight. An open house celebration of Logan will be held on March 3rd, 2023 at 6:30pm at the MacDonald Residence: 2127 East Mallory Street, Mesa, AZ 85213. Although his life lasted only 23 years, his impact on his family and friends is lasting and profound.
Logan’s greatest love in life was music. He began singing while in middle school at Stapley Junior High School. When he was in 7th grade, he played the lead role in Aladdin the musical. He sang in choir all throughout high school and was a member of both the Chorale and Encore ensembles at Mountain View. At the final choir concert of his senior year, he sang the solo number Santa Fe from the musical Newsies. Logan loved going to New York and attending Broadway musicals; some of his favorites were The Phantom of the Opera, The Last Five Years, and Newsies.
Logan had a talent for discovering good music and frequently introduced his friends and family to new artists and songs. One of his most prized possessions was his record player. He accumulated records of his favorite albums. Among his favorite artists were Taylor Swift, The 1975, The Band Camino, Kesha, and Carly Rae Jepsen, all of whom he saw in concert. Logan wanted to be anywhere music was playing. His siblings remember fondly that he hung a disco ball from the ceiling of his bedroom and regularly hosted dance parties, making him a natural nomination for prom king.
Logan also excelled at baking; trips to New York were never complete without stopping by Carlo’s Bakery from the TLC TV show Cake Boss. By age twelve, he had perfected his favorite recipe: Sprinkles red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting. He loved baking and decorating cakes so much that Logan became known in his community for his incredible confections. Inspired by Mrs. Backer’s Bakery, he learned to decorate cakes with buttercream flowers and delicate piped frosting. Logan continued this love of baking throughout college with friends and loved ones.
Logan’s artistic personality was seen in many areas of his life. One of his favorite possessions was his Polaroid camera. He loved taking Polaroids with his friends and family. His favorites were always displayed above his desk wherever he lived. He was a very talented writer and had an eye for style and fashion. Logan was pursuing a degree in English at the University of California Santa Barbara with the ambition to become a screenwriter. He loved fashion and was extremely successful as a sales representative for H&M. Logan boldly and fearlessly let the world know he was gay just prior to his senior year of high school. One way that he expressed himself was by wearing makeup. He loved wearing brightly colored, often glittery, eyeshadow and pink clothing.
Logan’s hearty laugh was contagious and his sense of humor brought joy to all. Although he is gone, his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. To our dear Logan: We will think of you every time we hear your favorite music; watch your favorite movie (Titanic); hear a SpongeBob quote (he could quote almost every episode); attend a Broadway musical; savor a red velvet cupcake; or see a tall, handsome, blonde, blue-eyed young man dressed to the nines. Frances Aurelia Thompson was happily welcomed into the world on May 25,1949. She joined her parents, Cecil William (aka Bill) and Barbara (Western), as well her older siblings Barbara Anne, Christine, Bill, and Joe. They lived in Monticello, Utah at the time. Cleova was also born there, and while Frances was still very young, the family moved to Mesa, Arizona, where the youngest sister Tannis joined the Thompson Tribe.
Francie grew up in a very loving family, one who took in any and all that needed a little extra help. She cherished her family, thought the world of her wonderful, kind-hearted mother, and adored her hard-working, dedicated father. Francie excelled in art, enjoying multiple mediums, and won several awards while in high school. Francie was also a darling Mesa High Bunny! After high school, she continued to make beautiful art, and wrote quite a few poems.
For many years she went by the name of Fritz. She married Ed Davidson, though they later divorced. They had three children, Becky, Joleen and Terence, and raised them in Tempe, Arizona. Frances opened her heart and home to Elberta Gorman so she could attend school in Tempe. The kids have happy memories of silly songs, playing in thunderstorms, home sewn clothing, the most delicious tamales, caramel corn, food fights, creative home decorating, and much more. Mom was the story lady at their elementary school, and could make the best sound effects. She was a very fun mom!
Throughout her life, Frances was continually supportive of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, always celebrating them with the loudest claps, fingersnaps and enthusiastic “WooHoo”s!
Serving others came naturally to Frances. She graciously shared her time, talents, home and heart. She loved to craft with her grandkids. She donated bone marrow to her brother. She was an amazing friend, neighbor and visiting teacher, always mindful of those who needed extra care. Frances was generous in her compliments, even to strangers, taking every opportunity to make someone feel seen and bring a smile to their face. And her hugs!!! She gave the best and most heartfelt hugs. They were gifts to the recipient!
Frances loved sunrises and sunsets, and did not miss very many of them. Rainstorms, the desert and the Superstition Mountains also brought Frances great joy. She enjoyed chocolate, and often frequented the See’s Candies store. Ice cream was not only a favorite but a tradition, and she firmly believed in the power of Vitamin DQ!
Books were very special to Frances, including the scriptures, the dictionary and the thesaurus! She loved going to the library and bookstores, collecting hundreds of books, and carefully choosing special ones to give as gifts.
Frances was exceptionally creative and dedicated in many ways, including her church callings, her thoughtful gift giving, and most especially her greeting cards. She sent hundreds of personalized cards to family and friends for any occasion, or no occasion at all! Those tokens of her thoughtfulness and love will be missed by many!
Frances lived on her own for many years, and her children are very grateful for:

Mom, we love you so much it tickles inside! Thank you for everything you’ve done for us. We will miss your wonderful hugs and happy dances, and look forward to the next ones! Woohoo!

Richard Dick Scow, 95, passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 22, 2023 in Chandler, Arizona. He was born to Arvon and Janice Scow in Orangeville, UT on November 17, 1927. Richard married his high school sweetheart, Ione Conover in the Logan, UT temple on July 19, 1948. He graduated from BYU in accounting in 1951. They moved from Utah to Tempe, Arizona in 1956. Richard worked as a CPA and at Paragon Hotels for most of his career. He was well known for his mathematical mind and loved to solve puzzles. He built the Scow cabin in Pine, Arizona where many family gatherings were held. Richard loved ice cream, living on the water in Dobson Ranch, his family, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and he especially loved to travel. One of his favorite places to visit was Ocean Beach with his family.
Richard and Ione had 60 wonderful years together raising their 4 children, Steven Scow (Mary Beth) of Henderson, Nevada, Janece Larson (Scott) of Mesa, Arizona, Sharon Bagley (Richard) of Utah, and Kimberly Riches (Victor) of Mesa, Arizona.
Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Ione; his parents, Arvon and Janice; and his brother, Ted.
Richard married Emily Bello on April 28, 2009. They shared many happy years traveling, visiting family, and running their care home together. They loved to wear matching shirts and to sing as they cared for their residents.
Richard is survived by his wife, Emily; brother, Merrill Scow (Sylvia); and sister-in-law, Marlene Scow as well as all of his posterity including his 4 children and his 28 grandchildren: Steven Scow Jr. (Miriam), Victor Riches Jr. (Justan), Katie Wride (Jared), Bethany Schumann (Brent), Shane Riches (Katie), Mandy Heal, Richard Scow (Jenny), Adam Larson, Bradley Scow (Julie), Justin Riches (Kenzie), Shannon Chapman (Scott), Holly Moss (Jeff), Jonathan Riches (Annie), Matthew Bagley, Christina Bishop (Nicholas), Christie Foster (Joshua), Daniel Scow (Suzanne), Jesse Larson (Ally), Melanie Dunbar (Chris), Brittany Preston (Nate), David Scow, Stephanie Cox (Steven), Quinton Riches, Katie Terry, Sarah Scow, MacKenzie Riches, Hunter Riches (Malia), and Trevor Riches. He also has more than 79 great grandchildren and counting!
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 4 at 10am at the LDS church at 2520 N Harford St., Chandler, AZ 85225 with a viewing from 9 to 9:45am. There will be a viewing on Friday, March 3, from 5:30 to 7:30pm at Bunker Mortuary, 33 N Centennial Way, Mesa, AZ 85201. He will be buried at the Mesa City Cemetery. Alma Lois Waters, “Lois” as her friends and family knew her, returned to our Heavenly Father Sunday February 19th 2023. She was born to Merrill Winslow Stout and Alma Fannie Roberds January 2, 1939 in Phoenix Arizona.
She spent many early years living on a ranch in Roosevelt, Arizona. Ranch life was difficult but this created many life skills for Lois and her siblings, Donna, Billy, and Ronnie. After moving to the valley, she worked in the bakery at Wright’s grocery store that was located at Stapley and Broadway in Mesa. This is where she perfected her talent of baking and decorating, specifically wedding cakes. She used this gift many times in her life to bless others on their special occasions including creating the wedding cakes for many of her children and grandchildren. It was at Wright’s grocery store where she would also meet her future husband working in the produce department. They were smitten. Steffan and Lois were married in December 1958.
In the early years of marriage while Steffan was in the Air Force they were stationed in Anchorage, Alaska. It was in those 2 1/2 years in Alaska that they welcomed their first two children Robert and Judy just born a little over a year apart. Following their Alaskan adventures they moved back to Mesa, Arizona and their son Eddie was born. Steffan began working for the Mesa Fire Department and Lois stayed busy enjoying homemaking, social and church activities, including assisting with costuming and set designs for the Mesa Arizona Temple Easter pageant. They welcomed their last son, John in 1972 and their family was complete. The Water’s family had many adventures spending a lot of time in Mexico, either on the water or sunbathing in the Sea of Cortez.
Throughout her life, Lois lived a life of service. She never hesitated to help anyone in need, including providing meals, giving of her time and talents, or just lending a listening ear. She stayed physically active her entire life, participating in volleyball, softball, walking clubs and exercise classes.
As much as Lois loved her family and her tight circle of friends, she loved the Lord even more. She was an amazing example of living a life of true discipleship. Whether serving in her many church callings over the years, working in the Temple or just making her 10th batch of homemade french fries for her grandkids, She always went above and beyond.
Lois was a wife of 65 years, a mother of 4, a grandmother of 11, and a great-grandmother of 17. Her grandchildren describe her in one word, Selfless. Her passing has left a hole in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to have a piece of hers.
She was preceded in death by her father Merrill and mother Fannie. She is survived by her husband, Steffan Waters of Mesa, Arizona, her four children, Robert Waters (Karin) Judy Waters, Ed Waters (Aretta) and John Waters (Holly) Along with a legacy of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services will be held, Saturday, March 4th at 9:30 am, at the Mesa AZ Maricopa North Stake, 1718 N. Date Dr., Mesa, AZ 85201.

Lorrain Yvonne Morris got her wings and went to walk with the angels at the age of sixty-one. She peacefully passed away in the comfort of her home in Fountain Hills, Arizona on February 18, 2023.
Harold and Evelyn Smith welcomed Lorrie into the world on February 17, 1962, in Tempe, Arizona. That day, the world became a whole lot brighter. Lorrie grew up in Phoenix and graduated from Tolleson High School.
She excelled in several things as she grew older but had a great love for serving people. Lorrie spent the last 20+ years as a Fry’s employee working in customer service and in the pharmacy as a technician. She loved her job, her co-workers, and her customers.
Lorrie was an exceptional wife, mother, and friend. She had a great appreciation for the simple pleasures in life. She was loyal and hard working. She lived a warm life filled with love, joy, and above all kindness. Her family and friends meant the world to her. She will be remembered for her caring heart and will be sorely missed.
Lorrain is survived by her husband of 40 years Daniel Morris Sr., daughter Camille Morris, daughter Jenny LaGreca and son in law Brian LaGreca, daughter Danielle Despain, and son Daniel Morris Jr. She leaves behind nine beloved grandchildren, Blayne, Damien, Jaden, Ellyanna, Jacob, Riley, Zane, Lincoln and Roan, as well as her brother Eddie Smith, and sister Chrissy Smith. She is predeceased by her parents Harold Smith and Evelyn Rogers, as well as her sister Pamela Smith and Tami Smith-Jones.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am on March 3, 2023, at Bunker Family University Chapel in Mesa.
