Ora passed away peacefully on March 31, 2009. She was born on November 25, 1915, in Lehi, AZ, to Thomas W. and Elizabeth Jones. She attended Lehi School, which is now occupied by the Mesa Historical Museum. She graduated from Mesa High School in 1932 and Arizona State Teachers College (now ASU) in 1936 with a teaching certificate. She married O. Lee Moore on April 2, 1936. They moved to Salinas, California, where they opened “Lee’s Sandwich Shop
Beniah Cutler Wheeler, Jr., passed away April 3, 2009 in Tempe, AZ. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Marlene; sons Ben III (Lori), Mike, Steve, David; daughter Debra (Brian) Lundgren; 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; mother Lovel Wheeler; brothers Bill (Twila), Dick (Fay), John (Pauline), Doug; sisters Lovel (Marvin) Blacker, Karen (Scott) Jackson; Diane (Ike) Hathcock. He was preceded in death by his father Beniah C. Wheeler. He lived his life for his family and will be missed by all. A visitation will be held Monday, April 6, 2009 from 6-8 PM at Bunker’s Garden Chapel, 33 N. Centennial Way in Mesa. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the LDS Coronado Ward, 2202 N. 74th St., Scottsdale, AZ with a viewing preceding at 10:00 AM.
