Patsy Dell Dotter Walding died November 8, 2012. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 5, in the 76th Ward building of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Mesa, AZ. Bishop Lynn Leatham will be presiding. She was born in Stillwater, OK on November 27, 1925 to Frank A. and Alta E. McKaughan Dotter. After graduating from Stillwater High School, Patsy went to nursing school in Texas. Following completion of her schooling she joined the U. S. Air Force. In her role as an Air Force nurse she traveled all over the world. Her duties took her to Germany, Japan and Vietnam. She was married to Bill Walding in 1972. Patsy loved traveling and seeing new places. When she retired from the Air Force she settled in Ft. Worth, TX. While in Ft. Worth she went back to school and got an associate’s degree in horticulture. She enjoyed her own garden and volunteering at the botanical garden. She also volunteered in local hospitals. She moved back to Stillwater to be near her Mother and Sister. While in Stillwater she attended First Christian Church and was active in the American Legion. She volunteered with a number of organizations and loved serving. In 2011 she and her sister moved to Mesa, AZ. Patsy was preceded in death by her husband Bill, her parents, Frank and Alta, and her brother, Kenneth. She is survived by one sister: Jonita Dotter Milligan of Mesa, AZ and one Brother: Frank “Buddy
Leila Ziegler –Adams, taken from us far too soon. Leila was on an endless journey to find love, peace, and light. She has finally found love, peace, and light on the other side. Leila is survived by her husband Josh Adams, children; Elijah 7, Araiya 5, and Freedom 1 ½ months, mother and father Barbara and Terry Jeffers, Sisters; Salena (Vox) Pruitt and Kristen (Gene) Jordan; Aunt Salena (Roger) Duncan, Uncles; John (Gila) Anderson and Larry Anderson, maternal grandfather James (Doris) Anderson and countless other family and friends. She was preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Mildred Ruble, Cousin Jame Duncan, and Uncle George Johnston. ‘Til we meet again, peace baby, we love you! Arthur Collins Chapman 85, of Mesa, AZ peacefully returned to his heavenly home on Monday, November 5, 2012. He was born August 21, 1927 in Bluewater, NM to Ernest Collins and Mary Genette Adair Chapman. He served in the US Navy and as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Central Atlantic States Mission. In 1950 he married Helen Crum in the Arizona Temple. He received his BA in Engineering from U of U and a Masters in Engineering from UCLA. He was employed by the GE/Honeywell Computer Division and traveled the world during his employment. He is survived by his wife Helen, of 62 years, brother Neal Chapman, daughters Elaine Fort (Milton), Pat Freestone (Chris), Janet Woods (Steve), Colleen Coleman (Daren), 21 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Alma Delmoe, brother Telford, daughter Marianne Merrill (Walter). Services will be held at the Maricopa North Stake Center, 1718 N. Date, Mesa, AZ on Monday, November 12, 2012 at 10 AM, visitation one hour prior to service. Arrangements by Bunker’s Garden Chapel.

Stuart Allen Kadel, 49, passed away October 20, 2012 in Chandler, Arizona. Memorial services are Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 3 PM at Bunker’s Garden Chapel, 33 N. Centennial Way in Mesa.
Joseph P. Rais (Papa Joe), 81, passed away Oct. 26, 2012 in Mesa, AZ. He was born in Globe AZ, Jan. 17, 1931. He served in the AF during the Korean War. He is survived by wife, Ruth (Allred) Rais, children, Sandra (Bill Brower), W. Sevey (Maggie) Sherman, Patricia (Mark) Williams, 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was in retail for many years, but was best known as the owner of Country Crossing Restaurant in Gilbert, AZ. He was an ASU graduate, a big fan of ASU sports and loved to golf. Funeral services are Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012 at 10 AM, preceded by a visitation at 9 AM at Bunker’s Garden Chapel, 33 N. Centennial Way in Mesa. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Hospice of the Valley or the Gilbert Fire Department.
Willis Lane Wilcken Sr. (67) Born in Rexburg, Idaho Apr 26, 1945 passed away peacefully Oct 27, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister and eldest son, Willis Jr. Survived by his loving wife of 44 years Mildred Rivera, children: Lane, Cathy, John, Joseph, Lydia, Clarissa, Jared and 41 grandchildren. Willis was a lifelong car, airplane enthusiast and entrepreneur. He was a great husband, father and friend to many. Services will be held at the LDS chapel on Adobe & Val Vista in Mesa at 10am concluding with interment in Fillmore, Utah.

Evelyn Marie Henderson 95, born in Baggs, Wyoming on January 8, 1917, was called home Wednesday, October 24, 2012 in Mesa, AZ. She raised her family in Craig, CO. Following the death of her husband in 1962, she moved to Mesa, AZ, where she lived for the remainder of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, David, sons Wayne & Ralph, 5 siblings, and grandson, Matthew. She is survived by sons Kenneth (Linda), Gerald (Joyce), daughter-in-law, Marlene, 27 grandchildren & 84 great-grandchildren. Evelyn was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed. Funeral Services are Saturday, October 27, at the LDS Church, 1911 N. 24th St, Mesa. Viewing at 3:00 p.m. followed by services at 4:00 p.m. Interment in Craig, CO. Arrangements by Bunker’s Garden Chapel.
Brown, Mildred Louise (Millie), 89, of Mesa passed peacefully on October 21, 2012. Millie was born April 28, 1923 in Corydon, Indiana. She moved to Arizona in 1954, making her home in Mesa. She retired from Motorola, and was very involved with the Mesa Senior Center. Millie was preceded in death by husbands Cecil Conrad and Wayne Brown; daughter Cecilia Conrad; parents Elmer and Helen Getz, brother William Getz and sister Betty Lang. Millie will be missed and lovingly remembered by her large extended family; children Virginia Stodghill (Frank), Glenda Patrick (Jerry), Pamela Williams, William Conrad (Jayne) and Cecil Conrad Jr; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren. Services will be Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Bunker’s University Chapel, 3529 E. University Drive, Mesa, 85213. A viewing will be held at 10am followed by chapel services at 11am. Interment will be at Mesa Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of the Valley (Dobson Home), 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014, to whom they are infinitely grateful for the assistance and compassion in the care of their mother and grandmother.
Lena Lovena Cooper, 89, of Mesa, Arizona passed away October 11, 2012 in Scottsdale, Arizona. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 24, 2012 from 6-8 PM at Bunker’s Garden Chapel, 33 N. Centennial Way, Mesa, 85201. Funeral services are Thursday, October 25, 2012 at 11 AM, preceded by a visitation at 10 AM also at Bunker’s Garden Chapel.
Ernest F. Johnson Jr, born Sept 2, 1934 in Prescott was called home on Sunday, Oct 21, 2012 in Mesa. There to meet him were his son, Kevin, granddaughter, Elizabeth Ann, his parents and two sisters. Left to carry on his traditions are his wife, Ann, daughter Denise, son Dennis and daughter in law, Dee. His legacy will be continued through his 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. After working for the government on various construction projects for 31 years, he retired to spend time with his wife and tour the world. Known as Mr. Fix-it to family and friends everywhere he lived and for his support of family members on LDS missions. He will be greatly missed by all. Funeral services are Thursday, Oct 25, 2012 at 10 AM, preceded by a visitation at 9 AM, at the LDS chapel located at 1249 S 48th St in Mesa.
