Clara Ann Cyr (née Reavis)

Clara Ann Cyr (née Reavis), 71, of Gilbert, Arizona, passed away peacefully at her home on September 18, 2025.

A celebration of her life will take place at the Val Vista Lakes Clubhouse on Sunday, October 26th at 11:00 a.m.

Clara was born on October 22, 1953, in Nashville, Tennessee. She attended the University of Tennessee before beginning a long and fulfilling career as a flight attendant with American Airlines, where she worked for over 40 years. Clara loved traveling, reading, and spending time with her two children and beloved dogs.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Majorlene. She is survived by her children, Meghan and Jeffrey, as well as her brother, Terry.

Clara will be remembered for her sharp wit, her love of red wine, and her unmatched collection of party hats and drinking rings. Her joy, humor, and unwavering zest for life were gifts to everyone who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that a book be donated to your local library in Clara’s name. Attendees of her celebration are also welcome to bring a book for donation.
