About Maxine “Mickey” Tutt

Maxine (Mickey) F. Tutt.  Born July 14, 1924 in Manchester, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully August 6, 2016 at her home in Mesa.  She had been an Arizona resident for more than 60 years.  She is survived by one sister, Shirlie Ireland; husband, Don; Sons, David(Yvonne), Eric (Floramae); daughters, Nina Bentley (Don), and Janice Morgan (Joseph); 18 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren.  A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she held a variety of leadership and teaching positions.  Her favorite was working with youth, writing and directing stage productions.  She struggled with Alzheimer’s for the past few years, but, in spite of losing much vocabulary and memory, she never lost her smile or her love for family and friends.  Services will be held at the LDS Chapel, 6942 E. Brown Road, Friday, August 12th at 9:30 AM.  Viewing will be 7:00 – 9:00 PM, Thursday, August 11th at Bunker’s University Chapel, 3529 E. University Dr. and at the Church for one hour before the funeral.  Burial will follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens.  In lieu of flowers, friends are encouraged to contribute to The Alzheimer’s Association or their favorite charity.

Condolences

  • To Mrs. Tutt’s family, I’m very sorry for your loss. I wanted to offer you some comfort that I’ve found in the Bible. At Revelation 21:3,4 Jehovah God promises that there will soon be a time when there will be no more pain, sickness, or death, and we can see the loved ones we have lost again. Please accept my deepest condolences.
