About Lea Dee Anne Honaker

Lea Dee Anne Honaker, born September 21, 1963 passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2016 of a sudden heart attack.  An only child, Lea was truly one-of-a-kind, a tomboy and at the same time the funniest and most beautiful woman in any room.  While Lea loved gardening and listening to music with a good cup of coffee, her true love in this life was caring for her family.  Her children will remember her as a devoted mother, wife, best friend and daughter who weathered life’s challenges with determination and humility.  She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Jim; her mother Judy and her three children: son Nathan; daughter Trisha and her husband Jim, and their daughter Logan; younger daughter Valerie and her husband Joe.  She is preceded in death by her grandmother Esther and father Morey, both whom she loved so dearly.  A visitation will be held at 10 AM with services at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Bunker’s University Chapel, 3529 E. University Dr., Mesa, Arizona.

  • To Mrs. Honaker’s family, I’m deeply sorry for your loss. It’s my hope that you can draw comfort and strength from Jehovah God’s promises in the Bible at Revelation 21: 3, 4 and John 5: 28, 29 that there will soon be a time when there will be no more sickness, pain, or death, and we will see our dead loved ones again. Please accept my deepest condolences.
