About Marilyn Jean McNeil
Marilyn Jean McNeil, age 86, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2026. She left this world with grace and dignity, ready to reunite with the love of her life, her beloved husband of 65 years, George Reece McNeil. She often spoke of how excited she was to see him again and to dance with him once more, a reunion she held close to her heart.
Marilyn was born in Tucson, Arizona in 1939 to Francis and Florence Stock. From the very beginning, she carried within her a gentle spirit, a kind heart, and a deep sense of compassion that would guide her throughout her life.
She was a devoted and loving mother to her five sons, whom she affectionately and proudly called her “Magnificent Five”: Kelly Reece, John Wayne, Duane Allen, Michael George, and Adam Troy. Her love extended beyond her children to her growing family, and she was blessed with 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense pride and joy.
Marilyn lived a life rooted in service to others. She was known by all who knew her as a kind, supportive, and genuine woman who always saw the good in people. Her spiritual strength guided her daily life, and she offered encouragement, comfort, and love freely. She had a remarkable gift in the kitchen and was known for her ability to cook just about anything, always bringing family and friends together around her table.
Above all else, family was the center of Marilyn’s world. She created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unconditional love. Her legacy lives on in the lives of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in knowing she is once again in the arms of her beloved George, dancing together as they did for so many years. Her love, kindness, and spirit will remain in the hearts of her family forever.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. at Bunkers Garden Center in Mesa, Arizona. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate her beautiful life.

Our family sends condolences to all of you at this time.
My dear, sweet Aunt Marilyn was such a joy to know in this life. Her passing, while sad to those of us who remain, brought a joyful reunion to her of family and friends who were anxiously awaiting her return. For that knowledge we thank a merciful Heavenly Father.
May your memories of her bring you joy through the difficult times ahead.

She was truly a beautiful woman in every aspect of her life. Although I could never visit very often, each time was a treasure to me and happiness followed forever afterwards.
I will miss her dearly but am so happy she is reunited with family and friends.
